On my recent trip, I stopped in to see how to best plan this experience into your day! This is a fun experience that is around 15 minutes long, and wait times will vary depending on what time of year you’re visiting.

If this is a must do experience for your Bluey fan, we’re shared some of our favorite tips and takeaways below!
What is Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station?
This is an all new experience at Walt Disney World! Exclusively at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you’ll board the Wildlife Express train in the Africa section of the theme park. Then take a fun train ride out to the Conservation Station area of the park.

Along the way you’ll maybe even see some animals! Once you get out to the Conservation Station train depot, there is a short pathway walk where you can take photo ops with images of Bluey and Bingo, and animal exhibits along the way!
If you’ll be completing Wilderness Explorers badges on your trip, make sure to keep an eye out for those signs! As there are a number of those stations throughout the area.

When you get to the main Conservation Station building, the queue to see Bluey and Bingo is clearly marked. On the day we visited, we waited for only about 15 minutes in line before our interactive show!

Once it is your group’s turn, your are led into a group area where Bluey and Bingo arrive with some of their Cast Member friends. They lead you through a number of fun games and songs, and this is great interactive fun that is best suited for ages 3 to 10! All ages are welcome, and it is a great time for the adults as well!
What Else is at the Conservation Station at Disney’s Animal Kingdom?
The new Bluey experience at Conservation Station is of course a big part of the reason to visit the area! However there are also lots of great exhibits and other things to explore while you’re there!

Outside, where the petting zoo area used to be, it has been replaced by a Kangaroo and Wallaby walking path. Here guests can walk along paths surrounded by the animals. This is currently in the beginning stages of being opened to the piblic and currently you can only view the animals.

Also, inside the building there are animal exhibits, Wilderness Explorers stations, and you can even get a look behind the scenes at animal care at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

These exhibits all make it a great place to visit, even if you don’t plan on standing in line to see Bluey!
Meeting Bluey and Bingo: What Parents Should Know
This is an interactive experience that is new to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! It’s also a new type of experience as well!

Guests will go in to the play zone as one large group and interact as a group with Bluey and Bingo. So unlike a traditional “Meet and Greet”, this is not a one on one interaction with the characters. (Although they move around a lot! So there are lots of great photo opportunities!)
One thing to note is since this is an interactive experience, make sure your child is aware that Bluey and Bingo will NOT sign items to give an autograph. I did hear on the train a few conversations between parents and kids about whether Bluey could sign anything, To set expectations about autographs it is a good thing to know that it is not a part of this experience!

The total time for this experience may vary depending on your wait time, but since the train ride out is about 10 minutes, the experience itself is 15 minutes, and the train ride back is 10 minutes, you’ll need a minimum of 1 hour set aside to enjoy the area. There’s also lots to see and do there as well! So if you want more time to read signs and explore, 2 hours is even better!
Rope Drop Strategy for Bluey’s Wild World
On the day I visited, I tested out a “Rope Drop Strategy” to see Bluey’s Wild World, and I think it was quite successful! It should be noted that I visited one of the first days that Bluey was now a “regular queue”, instead of being a virtual queue. So some visitors may not have realized that change yet.

I arrived at Disney’s Animal Kingdom around 7:45am, having Early Entry from 7:30am to 8:00am as a Disney Resort guest.

Once in the theme park, I headed straight back to the Africa area of Animal Kingdom and got to the train at 7:58am. At that time, I could walk right onto the Wildlife Express train and take it out to the Conservation Station without a wait. My train arrived at the Conservation Station at 8:07am, and the first Bluey show started at 8:30am.

So this is a great way to be in advance of the line if you’re wanting to make sure to do this event first thing in your day. Crowds were moderate on the day I was there, and the wait time never went over 25 minutes in the middle of the day. So it does seem like the group system they have implemented is working to keep people moving through the attraction.
Bluey’s Wild World Merchandise at Animal Kingdom
When you’re out at the Conservation Station, make sure to check out the Bluey merchandise that is available!

It is right outside the exit to the Conservation Station, and as you’re walking in, it will be to the left towards where the kangaroos are located.

There are tons of adorable items to bring home! When we were there, they had t-shirts, sweatshirts, pins, lanyards, blind boxes, plushes and more! These are a great way to bring home a momento from your trip, especially if you have a big Bluey fan in your family!
Bluey Treats at Animal Kingdom
In addition to the new interactive experience and merchandise available at the Conservation Station, you can also find Bluey themed food in the Discovery Island area of the theme park!

- Bluey’s Berry Lemonade
- Wackadoo Fruit Freeze
- Fairy Bread Cake
- Bluey Sipper
Head to Pizzafari quick service location for a brightly colored slushy drink or to try the Fairy Bread! There’s also a Bluey sipper cup you can get with a drink in it and bring home as a souvenir!

My favorite was the Wackadoo Fruit Freeze! It has a great fruit flavor and was refreshing on a hot day! Bluey’s Berry Lemonade was good, but it was pretty sweet! And the Fairy Bread Cake was worth trying, I do think I would get it again!
Planning Your Animal Kingdom Day
Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station is an exciting addition to the theme park! We love spending the day here, because it feels like such a relaxing park to explore. Our family also really loves learning more about animals, and there are lots of great opportunities here!
