Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios | What to Expect in 2025

Running on select nights from November 8 to December 22, 2025, this unique celebration transforms Disney’s Hollywood Studios into a jazzy, retro inspired holiday party with dazzling entertainment, specialty treats, and plenty of sparkle.

As someone who attended Jollywood Nights in 2024, I can say this holiday event offers a fresh take on seasonal fun! It is especially geared towards adults and families with older kids. If you’re looking for something beyond the usual holiday parade and fireworks, this event might be just your thing.

2025 Jollywood Nights Dates

Jollywood Nights will return on select nights from November 8 through December 22, 2025. Tickets will be limited and go on sale starting July 16, 2025. Here are the dates that Jollywood Nights will be happening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

• December 1, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 22

If you’re planning to attend, be sure to purchase your tickets in advance. Especially if you’re attending on a weekend or dates closer to Christmas.

What Is Jollywood Nights?

Disney Jollywood Nights is a special ticketed nighttime event that blends the glamour of old Hollywood with the magic of the holiday season.

Think classic Tinseltown meets tinsel and mistletoe! With limited attendance, guests can enjoy shorter wait times for select attractions, exclusive stage shows, themed entertainment, and access to unique photo ops with rare characters.

This event is a bit different from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. Where that party leans more into classic family fun and traditional holiday charm, Jollywood Nights has a cool, grown up vibe.

True to its nod to Hollywood, it has a mix of upbeat music, lively performances, and stylish decor that feels like stepping into a vintage Christmas card.

Holiday Entertainment Highlights at Jollywood Nights

One of the biggest draws at Jollywood Nights is the exclusive live entertainment. In 2024, I loved the variety of shows that were only available during the event. My favorite was the Disney Holidays in Hollywood stage show.

The entertainment lineup caters to an older crowd, with musical stylings, elegant backdrops, and even the Muppets holiday performance that brought a fun mix of nostalgia and laughs.

While younger kids may not find as much to engage with compared to Magic Kingdom’s party, teens and adults will appreciate the atmosphere and creativity behind these shows.

My least favorite show was the Nightmare Before Christmas Sing Along, if you’re short on time this is one of the shows I would skip at a future event.

You can expect many of these will be returning performances for 2025, and Disney will release more details about the party night entertainment closer to the event dates.

Specialty Treats & Festive Sips

A big part of any Disney event is the exclusive food and drink offerings, and Jollywood Nights delivers! The food was one of my favorite parts of the event evening! From themed cocktails and mocktails to holiday-inspired small bites, there are tons of treats to try. 

In 2024, my favorites were the Mexican Hot Cocoa Cheesecake at ABC Commissary and Christmas Tree Stack Cookie at Dockside Diner.

Also the Gertie Cookie was an adorable must try item if you go to Jollywood Nights!

Whether you’re a foodie or just want to grab a festive snack between shows, the event offers plenty of photo worthy food options.

Unique Character Meet & Greets

Jollywood Nights also includes rare character appearances, perfect for Disney fans looking to add some extra magic to their holiday trip. At the 2024 party nights, characters like Powerline Max, Phineas & Ferb, and Chip ‘n’ Dale appeared in festive outfits. 

I was also super excited to run into Doctor Strange during the party! He was not on the official character greet list and was a fun surprise!

 Who Is Jollywood Nights Best For?

Based on my 2024 experience, I would say Jollywood Nights is best suited for adults, couples, or families with older children or teens. The entertainment skews more toward an older audience, and the overall vibe is more relaxed and refined than kid centric.

If you’re looking for a fun date night, girls’ holiday trip, or something unique to do with tweens or teens, this event is a great option. Younger children may still enjoy the lights, characters, and snacks. However other Disney holiday events would be our pick for them when having to decide between the two.

If you have elementary aged children or younger, we would also pick Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party over Jollywood Nights for a fun special ticketed event evening out!

Is Jollywood Nights Worth It?

If you’re looking to experience the holidays at Disney in a new and stylish way, Jollywood Nights is definitely worth considering. It brings something different to the table than the more traditional Magic Kingdom party. The shorter lines, special shows, and upscale ambiance make it a great choice for a festive night out at Hollywood Studios.

Just keep in mind that it’s not designed to be a “kids party” so for families with little ones, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party might be a better fit. But for adults and teens?

Jollywood Nights shines with festive flair, fantastic entertainment, and that signature Disney sparkle. While I probably won’t go every single year, this is one party night I will definitely attend again!
