We visited Narcoosee’s on a recent trip to Walt Disney World when we stayed at the Grand Floridian Resort.

It was convenient to just take a short walk over from our room in the Sugar Loaf building to get to the restaurant. I would also consider returning here even if we were just visiting the resort for the day. It’s a quick walk away from the main lobby and monorail stop as well.
Location and Atmosphere at Narcoosee’s
Narcoossee’s is right on the edge of the Seven Seas Lagoon at the Grand Floridian Resort. When you visit here, you’ll have stunning views of Magic Kingdom and Cinderella Castle from basically the entire restaurant. One of the highlights of dining here is the opportunity to watch the Happily Ever After fireworks show right from your table or the restaurant’s wraparound porch. (You can see the porch just in the background of the photo, when we rented a boat for the day!)

The nautical atmosphere is elegant but relaxed, making it approachable for families while still feeling like a special night out. We had an early dinner and then went back to the porch that evening to watch the fireworks.

Also, a little known secret is you can head to the porch at Narcoossee’s to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks… even if you didn’t have a meal there that day! It wasn’t super busy when we watched fireworks, so I don’t think that many people realize that this is a public viewing area.
The Narcoossee’s Menu
The menu at Narcoossee’s focuses on fresh seafood and premium cuts of meat, all beautifully prepared with a modern flair.

They had a great range of appetizers and we ended up settling on trying the Buttermilk-Fried Calamari. It had a great taste and we all enjoyed that one. The butter that came with the bread service was also fantastic!

My husband and I both ordered the Gulf Shrimp Bucatini, which had a great flavor. The noodles were thick, so make sure you like an egg noodle if you order this one. The sauce was the best part though!

My older daughter likes eating vegetarian and ordered the Roasted Vegetable Paella. She said it was flavorful and exactly what she was wanting.

Other popular entrees here are the Surf & Turf with lobster tail and sirloin, seared scallops, and the center-cut filet mignon, all paired with seasonal sides.
My younger daughter ordered off the kids’ menu and got the chicken tenders. So you can see that their menu fits a diverse set of palettes! We like restaurants like this that offer a good range of entrees.

For dessert, we opted to try the Key Lime, my younger daughter received a kid’s dessert, and my husband even got a special dessert to celebrate this birthday!

The restaurant also has an extensive wine list, if you’re planning a special evening out.
Pricing at Narcoossee’s
As a signature dining restaurant, Narcoossee’s is one of Disney’s higher-priced dining experiences. Entrées generally range from $50 to $75 each, with appetizers and desserts priced separately.

While it is definitely a splurge, many guests feel the food quality, impeccable service, and views of Magic Kingdom make it well worth the price, especially if you plan your dinner around fireworks time.
Why Narcoossee’s is Worth the Visit
Dining at Narcoossee’s isn’t just about the food. It’s about the whole experience! The restaurant is a nice combination of upscale dining with some Disney magic. And we loved the views from this restaurant!

The combination of top notch cuisine, waterfront views, and the chance to watch the fireworks show without the park crowds makes Narcoossee’s one of the best dinner spots at Walt Disney World.
Tips for Dining at Narcoossee’s
Reservations for Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian book up quickly, so it’s best to secure your preferred dining time as soon as your reservation window opens. This will be at 60 days prior to your dining date, plus length of stay (up to 10 days!) for Disney Resort Guests.

If you can’t find availability right away, try using MouseDining, a free alert service that notifies you when a reservation becomes available. Other things to keep in mind!
- Time your reservation with Magic Kingdom fireworks for an unforgettable dinner.
- Return back to the restaurant patio to watch the fireworks in the evening if you have an earlier dining time.
- Dress code: Smart casual attire is recommended, since it is a signature dining experience. (However most theme park outfits should work.)
We went to the meal with teenagers and even though they had saved their “nicest outfit” that they packed on the trip, they arrived in basically what would be considered athletic clothing. So while the attire is smart casual, there is a bit more flexibility here. (More so than like other restaurants at the Grand Floridian Resort, notably Victoria & Albert’s where the dress code is not flexible!)
Rating Narcoossee’s at Grand Floridian Resort
This is a dining experience that we will definitely consider returning to! It worked well for our family, but would also make a fantastic date night. Narcoossee’s also would be a great meeting spot for a night out with Disney friends.

We enjoyed the casual vibes of the restaurant and the calm setting. Our food was great and we enjoyed the dishes we ordered. While this isn’t one that we’ll return to frequently, this is definitely one that is on my radar to head back to for either a date night or evening out with Disney gal friends. I will put this one onto my list for a special evening out!

If you’re looking for a Disney dining experience that feels both luxurious and magical, Narcoossee’s dinner at the Grand Floridian Resort should be a consideration on the list! From the exceptional seafood dishes to the incredible fireworks views, this signature restaurant offers a truly memorable dining experience!
