Tucked inside the vibrant Harambe Village, Tusker House feels like a bustling African marketplace. You’ll find yourself completely immersed in the story that this dining location tells, from the moment you walk in.

The open-air vibe and marketplace decor create a welcoming environment that feels adventurous without being overwhelming. Tusker House is a great spot to slow down and enjoy the atmosphere after exploring the wilds of Animal Kingdom.

Character Dining with Safari Flair

One of the standout features of Tusker House is the character experience. You’ll get to meet Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy,. The characters are dressed in their adventurous safari outfits, which are exclusive to this dining location. These unique costumes make your photos extra special and memorable.

What we really love about the character dining here is how relaxed the atmosphere is. The characters take their time visiting each table, and there’s no need to rush or stand in line. It’s the perfect opportunity for little ones to meet their favorite characters in a low-stress environment.

The menu at Tusker House is a flavorful blend of African-inspired dishes and classic American favorites. Most often we have eaten here for lunch or dinner for a mid-day theme park meal. We really love all of the salads and main dishes here!

The all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet features spiced meats like Moroccan-style beef, peri-peri chicken, and roasted pork. Alongside plenty of salad options or hearty sides such as jasmine rice, seasonal vegetables, and curry-based stews.

For those who prefer lighter fare, there’s an impressive selection of fresh salads, hummus with pita, and fruit. The kids’ section includes familiar options like mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, and corn dog nuggets.

The dessert station has a wide assortment of mini cupcakes, brownies, and tropical-inspired sweets.

The variety and quality of the menu make it easy to please everyone in the family.
