We have gone on a number of Disney date nights when our kids were younger by using the kid’s club services. (See note below, many of these Kid’s Clubs are closed permanently but there are a few babysitting options available at Walt Disney World!) Both an evening at EPCOT or an evening at Magic Kingdom can be great fun as a couples night out!

Start your night with a leisurely stroll through your resort or head to the theme parks to ride some rides. You might want to try a special dining option, like a fine meal at one of the park’s signature restaurants, offering a mix of delicious food and stunning views.

Cap off your evening with a spectacular fireworks show or a nightcap at a cozy lounge. Making plans to take in the sights and sounds of Disney magic is a great way to spend time with your significant other. With so many date night options, you can make your visit unforgettable.

Babysitting Options: While a majority of the kid’s clubs at Walt Disney World are now closed permanently, you can still look into a club atmosphere at the Good Neighbor Dolphin Resort at Camp Dolphin. Or look into in-room baby sitting options available in the Walt Disney World area through private services!

Exploring Romantic Dining Options

Disney World offers a variety of romantic dining experiences perfect for a date night. From signature restaurants to unique options across the resorts, you can find a great place to enjoy a special meal together.

Signature Restaurants and Unique Dining Experiences

Disney World features signature restaurants that provide a memorable dining atmosphere. California Grill is one of them, located at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. You can enjoy stunning views of the Magic Kingdom and fireworks while dining on upscale cuisine.

Victoria and Albert’s is another top choice if you’re looking for a unique and one of a kind. This award-winning restaurant, located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, offers an elegant dining experience. The multi-course meal is carefully crafted using seasonal ingredients. Do note, that this is one of the priciest meals on property – so you may want to save this one for once in a lifetime celebrations!

Other notable dining mentions include Le Cellier in the Canada Pavilion at EPCOT, known for its flavorful steaks. It’s a delightful way to have a great meal and then spend some time at the theme park afterwards.

And The Boathouse at Disney Springs is a great choice if you want to enjoy waterfront dining. It has a solid menu with lots of great options. This is one of my favorite Disney Spring restaurants.

Each of these spots creates a cozy atmosphere perfect for a relaxing and connecting dinner.

Progressive Dinner Options Throughout Disney World

For an exciting dining adventure, consider a progressive dinner across Disney resorts. There’s easy access to get to the Contemporary Resort from Magic Kingdom using the monorail. Start at Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for classic American dishes. Make sure to try the sauce flight!

Next, head to Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter to finish off the evening with flavorful beignets from Scat Cat’s Club Cafe.

Or you could begin your journey at Yachtsman Steakhouse, famous for its expertly prepared steaks and cozy vibe. Finally, visit Wine Bar George for dessert and a wide selection of wines.

You can mix and match experiences at various locations and enjoy a night filled with delightful flavors. This approach allows you to spend quality time together while experiencing the best of Disney’s dining options.

Creating Unforgettable Memories

Seeing Disney World as an adults only experience is totally different than experiencing it with kids along! You can savor the experience longer and linger in areas you may not be able to as much with little ones in tow.

Entertainment and Attractions for Couples

At Disney World, you can find many attractions perfect for couples. Start with the Disney Fireworks shows. Enjoy a stunning view from Cinderella’s Castle or even opt for a Fireworks Cruise on Seven Seas Lagoon for a unique experience.

If you both love thrilling rides, head to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios. Batuu offers an immersive experience that feels like stepping into a film. Afterward, grab drinks at Oga’s Cantina for a fun atmosphere. And if you really want to take it up a notch for Star Wars fans, make reservations to build light sabers at Savi’s Workshop together!

For a quieter option, visit Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland for an evening of mini-golf. The charming settings make for a perfect date night as you play and laugh together.

Relaxation and Pampering Experiences

Relaxing together can enhance your connection. Treat yourselves to a couples massage at the luxurious Mandara Spa. This experience allows you to unwind side by side. The spa offers a peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal for a romantic escape.

Another option is enjoying a drink at the Enchanted Rose located at the Grand Floridian. This elegant lounge has a relaxed vibe and stunning decor. Sip on cocktails while soaking in the ambience and share your favorite parts of the trip so far!

For something more playful, head over to Disney’s Polynesian Resort and put your name on the list at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. This secret hideaway is full of interactive fun! (And has great drinks too!)

Make sure that you head to Trader Sam’s early and get your name on the list. On the night we went, we had about a 45 minute wait to get in.
