Making it easy to get between these theme parks and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Our visual reference guide below can help you plan how to navigate this system!

Below are some of our favorite tips to use in your trip plans to help navigate the Disney Skyliner.
Planning How to Use the Disney Skyliner
With stunning aerial views of the parks and resorts, the Skyliner offers a unique transportation experience that feels more like a ride than just a way to get from point A to point B. The main transfer hub at Caribbean Beach Resort makes it easy for guests to switch lines depending on their destination.

When planning your day using the Skyliner, you’ll want to make sure you think about the timing of how long you have to transport between locations and the weather conditions. Use our visual reference guide below to plan your route of getting from your starting point to your destination.

The gondolas start running about an hour before the parks open and continue until after park closing, making them a great option for rope-dropping or heading back to your resort after the fireworks.

Please note that all of the travel times between locations are approximate. You always want to make sure that you’re allowing enjoy time to transport between locations. And in the mornings or other busy times, you may run into lines at the Disney Skyliner stations to get onto the gondolas.
Routes and Connections
The Disney Skyliner has multiple routes that link together key areas of Walt Disney World. The main hub of the Disney Skyliner is at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. You can take the Skyliner in a number of ways, and the gondolas are always running in both directions.
- From Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort: You can travel to Caribbean Beach Resort.
- From Caribbean Beach Resort: You can head to both EPCOT (via the Riviera Resort station, just stay on the gondola) and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- At Disney’s Riviera Resort: This resort connects directly to Caribbean Beach Resort in one direction, and has a line that goes to EPCOT in the opposite direction.
The connections make it easy to switch from one location to another. For example, if you visit EPCOT, you can easily ride to Hollywood Studios when done. Each station is marked clearly, so you know where you’re heading.

This streamlined transportation makes exploring the parks and resorts simpler.
Approximate Travel Times
Travel time on the Skyliner varies depending on your destination. Here are some approximate times:
- Caribbean Beach to Hollywood Studios – 10 minutes
- Caribbean Beach to EPCOT – 15 minutes
- Riviera Resort to EPCOT – 10 minutes
- Riviera Resort to Hollywood Studios – 15 minutes
- AoA/Pop Century to Hollywood Studios – 15/20 minutes
- AoA/Pop Century to EPCOT – 20/25 Minutes
During regular weather conditions the Disney Skyliner runs continiuously. During busy times, there may be a line at the stations to board.

However the lines tend to move fairly quickly as long as the Skyliner is running smoothly.
Weather Considerations
However, since the Skyliner does not operate during storms or high winds, guests should have a backup plan, such as using Disney buses or boats. If the Disney Skyliner service has to be paused due to weather, they will add bus service at the resorts connected to the Skyliner to get to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

Make sure to check the weather for the dates you’ll be visiting to have an idea of whether there is a chance that the Skyliner service may be paused during your trip. There are certain dates they close the service for refurbishment as well.
