Must Try Summer Treats at Walt Disney World
Summer at Walt Disney World means hot park days, fun character moments, and of course, plenty of new treats to try! This year, Disney released several new summer snacks on May 26 as part of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, and there are some really fun options in the theme parks.

Some of these are limited-time summer treats, while others are at newer permanent locations that you can add to your snack list for future trips too. If you are planning a summer visit to Walt Disney World, these are a few of the treats I would put on your list!

Summer Treats at Walt Disney World
One of my favorite ways to make a hot Disney day more fun is to work a few snack stops into our park plans. You can take a break in the shade, cool off with a drink, and try something seasonal without committing to a full meal.

For this article, I’m focusing mostly on the theme parks and a mix of drinks, sweet treats, and a few fun themed items. Some of these we were able to try during our recent visit, and a couple are still on my wishlist for an upcoming trip!
Magic Kingdom: Space Ranger Float
If you are spending the day at Magic Kingdom, stop by Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies in Tomorrowland for the Space Ranger Float.

This was such a refreshing drink, especially if you love lime! If you’ve tried some of the previous lime Dole Whip treats around Walt Disney World, like the Zazu float at Animal Kingdom or the Peter Pan float that was previously at Magic Kingdom, this one has a similar bright and zesty flavor.
The Space Ranger Float is made with Dole Whip Lime and vanilla soft-serve swirl, Sprite, green apple pearls, sprinkles, and a chocolate piece. I also really liked the boba-style pearls at the bottom of the drink. They added a fun little burst of flavor and made it feel extra special.
This is one I would definitely recommend for a hot park day. It is light, cool, and has that tart lime flavor that makes it feel extra refreshing when you need a break from the Florida heat.
EPCOT: Goofy’s Gone Fishin’ and Gawrsh! Worms Everywhere Cake
You’ll find these COOL KIDS’ SUMMER treat locations available throughout Walt Disney World from May 26 to September 8. Get more details on Disney Parks blog. Images courtesy of Disney Parks.

I completely missed the EPCOT area with these treats on my last visit, so these are going straight onto my wishlist for our upcoming trip!
At EPCOT, you’ll find some Goofy-themed summer treats at GRAB-N-GOOF. Two that stood out to me are Goofy’s Gone Fishin’ and the Gawrsh! Worms Everywhere Cake.
Goofy’s Gone Fishin’ is such a fun summer drink idea, especially for kids or anyone who loves a playful Disney snack. It has a blue raspberry lemonade base with strawberry fruit juice-filled pearls and a choice of fish or shark gummy candies.

The Gawrsh! Worms Everywhere Cake is another one that looks like it would be a hit with kids. It has chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, cookies and cream pieces, and gummy candy.
Since I haven’t tried these yet, I can’t speak to the taste, but they are definitely on my list for the next time we are at EPCOT. The Goofy theming is really cute, and these look delicious!
Hollywood Studios: FØØD by Swedish Chef
If you love the Muppets, the new FØØD by Swedish Chef stand at Hollywood Studios is definitely worth stopping by! This is a new permanent location, not just a summer offering, and it is located near the newly refurbished Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
We tried the Churro Drumstick, Pink Le-moi-nade, and Pond Water Limeade.

The Churro Drumstick was delicious and definitely worth trying. It had a fantastic raspberry sauce over the top, and it felt like a fun twist on a theme park churro.

The Pond Water Limeade was my absolute favorite. I would get this every time I’m back in this area! It was light, refreshing, and exactly the kind of drink I want while walking around Hollywood Studios on a warm day.

The Pink Le-moi-nade was also fun to try, but the Pond Water Limeade was the clear winner for me.
If you are planning to spend time near the Muppets area or heading over to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, this is an easy snack stop to add into your day.
Animal Kingdom: Bluey Treats at Pizzafari
Bluey fans will definitely want to stop by Pizzafari at Animal Kingdom for these themed treats!
We tried the Wackadoo Fruit Freeze, Fairy Bread Cake, and Bluey’s Berry Lemonade.

My favorite was the Wackadoo Fruit Freeze. It was light and refreshing, and not too sweet. I also liked that it had fruit on top, which made it feel like a fun snack and drink in one.
This is the one I would most recommend if you are looking for something cool and refreshing during the day.

The Fairy Bread Cake was delicious, and I would get it again. It is such a cute Bluey-themed treat and would be a fun option to share, especially if you already have a meal planned at Pizzafari.

Bluey’s Berry Lemonade was good, but it was on the sweet side. We weren’t able to finish ours, so this may be better to share if you don’t want something overly sweet.
Overall, I loved seeing these Bluey-inspired treats at Animal Kingdom. They are fun, colorful, and perfect for families visiting with younger kids.

Also, if you haven’t tried it yet, the Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich from Terra Treats, it is a fantastic summer time treat!
Tips for Trying Summer Snacks at Disney World
If you are visiting Walt Disney World in the summer, I would plan your snacks a little differently than you might during the cooler months.
First, look for refreshing drinks and lighter treats earlier in the day. By the afternoon, the parks can be very hot, and a cool drink can make such a difference.

Second, consider sharing a few of these treats instead of buying one for everyone. A lot of the drinks and desserts are sweet, so sharing gives everyone a chance to taste a few things without getting too much sugar at once.
Third, check the menus in the My Disney Experience app before you go. Seasonal treats can move around, sell out, or only be available for a limited time. Mobile order can also help you avoid standing in line when it is hot.
And finally, don’t feel like you need to try everything in one day! Pick one or two treats that fit naturally into your park plans, and build in a little break while you enjoy them.
Which Summer Disney Treat Would I Try First?
If I had to choose my top picks from the treats we tried, I would put the Space Ranger Float at Magic Kingdom and the Pond Water Limeade at Hollywood Studios at the top of the list.

Both were light and refreshing, which is exactly what I want during a summer day at Walt Disney World.
For Animal Kingdom, I would choose the Wackadoo Fruit Freeze. It was refreshing, not too sweet, and fun for Bluey fans. And if you love cookie dough, make a stop to try the Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich!

Over at EPCOT, Goofy’s Gone Fishin’ is high on my list for our next trip. It looks like such a cute summer drink, and I love a fun themed snack that makes a good park-day photo too.
