Each resort also is host to delicious treats you can take home (or let’s me honest, eat on the way to your next stop!) just for the event!

The Grand Floridian is the most well known gingerbread display, a treasured part of the Walt Disney World holiday tradition for over 20 years. This life size house is made up of a huge helping of ingredients, including 10,000 pieces of gingerbread and 1050 pounds of honey!

You’ll also find these gingerbread holiday displays at the Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Boardwalk Inn Resort, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Each location has their own unique treats and souvenirs to mark the occasion!

There are also party exclusive treats throughout the Halloween and Holiday season at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Or stop by Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to grab a special Dole Whip with some holiday flare!

Throughout the year, Disney World hosts a variety of special events that offer unique snacks and treats.

If you’re visiting during the spring, be sure to check out the Flower and Garden Festival. This event features a variety of fresh and healthy snacks, such as the watermelon cucumber slushy and the avocado toast. One of my favorites is the Violet Lemonade that is only available during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.

Healthy and Light Options

If you’re looking for a healthy and light snack option to keep you going through the day, Disney World has plenty of choices to offer. Here are some of the best options to consider:

Fresh Fruits and Vegetarian Choices

Fresh fruits are always a great choice for a healthy and refreshing snack. You can find a variety of fresh fruits throughout the park at snack stands, including apples, oranges, and bananas.

Two of my favorite theme park breakfast options are also full of fruit!

For something a little more filling, try the fresh fruit waffle sandwich from Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom, which is made with a whole grain waffle, fresh fruit, and a honey yogurt sauce.

And if you love overnight oats and are planning to be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, make a special stop by Ronto Roasters for breakfast. The overnight oats are fantastic, and I also get two of my favorite drinks at Hollywood Studios for breakfast – the Tatooine Sunset from Ronto Roasters and the Cold Brea Black Caf from Kat Saka’s Kettle is a must try if you love coffee!

Meal Alternatives for Different Diets

For those who are gluten-free or avoiding different allergens, there are plenty of options to choose from as well. Disney does a great job with offering alternatives for different eating styles and diets.

If you have allergies or items you’re looking to avoid in your meal, ask to speak with the chef at sit down restaurants. They can bring you an adapted allergy friendly menu, so you can know which items to order for your particular needs.

One of the best parts about meals at Walt Disney World is we know everyone in our family can find something they will like to eat!
