Biergarten Restaurant Review | EPCOT Dining
If you’re looking for a fun, festive, and flavorful meal during your trip to EPCOT, Biergarten Restaurant in the Germany Pavilion is a must-visit! Our family loves dining here, and it has become one of my favorite EPCOT table service locations.

This lively buffet-style dining experience offers so much more than just delicious German fare. It’s a cultural celebration complete with live entertainment that brings the spirit of Oktoberfest to life year-round.

We’ll break down why we have dined here a number of times, and what makes this restaurant a great choice for families!
Overview of Biergarten Restaurant
From the moment you walk into Biergarten, you feel like you’ve been transported to a charming Bavarian village! The restaurant is designed like an open-air town square, where it’s always twilight and always Oktoberfest. You’ll find long communal tables, festive decor, and a stage where a live band plays authentic German folk music.

The polka band performs a 25-minute show about every 60 minutes. And each seating time will see at least one of the shows.
On our recent trip the show times were 1:15pm, 2:15pm, 3:15pm, 4:45pm, 5:55pm, 7:00pm, and 8:05pm. (Note there is a slight break between the lunch seating times of 12pm to 3:55pm and dinner seating times of 4pm to 8pm.)

If a seating time is available about 15-20 minutes prior to a show time, I usually like to grab that reservation. This allows us to get seated at our table, get our food, and catch the beginning of the show.
Ambiance and Layout of Biergarten
What makes Biergarten stand out to us is how family-friendly the entire experience is. It’s a great break from the hustle of the park, offering a chance to sit, relax, and really soak in a joyful moment together.

It’s a lively atmosphere, but I also find it relaxing because of the communal setting and joy that everyone is experiencing together.
True to the traditional German beer hall experience, guests are seated at large wooden tables that accommodate multiple parties. If you’re dining with a smaller group, you’ll likely be seated alongside other guests you don’t know, which can be part of the fun!

This setup adds to the festive, family-style atmosphere and encourages a sense of community. We’ve had some great conversations with other Disney-loving families while enjoying our meal.
Biergarten Menu Selections
The all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet features traditional German dishes like bratwurst, schnitzel, roasted chicken, spätzle, pretzel rolls, and warm apple strudel. There’s also a kids’ section with familiar favorites like mac and cheese and chicken nuggets, so even picky eaters can find something they love.

I absolutely love the bratwurst and sausage variety at this location, and the pretzel bread with beer cheese is a must try.

They also have a variety of salad options if you prefer a lighter meal.

And all of the desserts are the perfect size to create a fun dessert sampler.

If you’re avoiding any ingredients, make sure to let your server know when you check in. They give you a menu that shows you the top 10 allergens and which foods are safe to eat.

This is a huge help when deciding what to get off of the buffet, and one of the reasons we love Disney dining!
Reservations and Planning
Reservations for Biergarten at EPCOT are highly recommended, as this unique dining with entertainment can be a popular pick, especially during peak travel seasons.

Booking in Advance
Guests can book through the My Disney Experience app, the Disney World website, or by calling Disney Dining up to 60 days (plus length of stay for Disney Resort guests) in advance. While same-day reservations or walk-ups may sometimes be available, they are not guaranteed, so securing a spot early is the best way to ensure your preferred dining time.
If you’re unable to find a reservation, using a reservation alert service like MouseDining can help notify you when a spot opens up.
Meal Pricing
Current pricing at Biergarten is $49 for adults, and $28 for children (ages 3-9) for both the lunch and dinner seating.

This price includes an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet featuring a variety of traditional German dishes, such as bratwurst, schnitzel, rotisserie chicken, spätzle, sauerkraut, seasonal salads, and assorted desserts. A standard non-alcoholic beverage is also included in the meal price.
For the quality of the food combined with the unique entertainment, we felt like the pricing is a good value for the experience you receive.
Rating Biergarten at EPCOT
Biergarten as an experience gets 5 stars from me, for both food and entertainment!
This is a Disney dining experience I’ve been to a number of times, and plan to return to again! It is fun for families, and especially if you enjoy live music your family should enjoy this experience.

It’s of course the best fit for families that enjoy German cuisine, so if you don’t prefer sausage, bratwurst, and that meat and cheese style if eating – it may be worth considering one of the other options inside EPCOT.

There are lots of fantastic dining options at EPCOT, which is one of the reason our family enjoys this theme park so much! Learn more about the table service options at EPCOT.
And if you think your family would prefer a character dining experience, make sure to look into Garden Grill or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at EPCOT. Both of these dining experiences are great fun with a great meal that includes meeting characters.
