Top Five Dining Locations for Families at EPCOT

Our top five best places for families were tough to choose, but when returning to EPCOT these are the picks our family has chosen to return to time and time again!

1. Garden Grill – This rotating restaurant is a fun experience and we’ve always gotten excellent food here. Kids will enjoy being able to see a number of characters during the meal and adults will enjoy the laid back and relaxing ambiance. 

We especially love dinner here, and getting to see Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Pluto during your meal is great for kids!

2. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall – We love princess meals, and this is an excellent alternative to Cinderella’s Royal Table if you’re unable to get a reservation at that restaurant in Magic Kingdom. 

You’ll see a number of princesses and typically a meet with Belle is right at the beginning, and we have often seen Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White, and Aurora here. We have returned to this meal a number of times and it’s always a fun time.

3. Via Napoli – This pizzeria serves up large pizzas that are great to split between family members and there are a variety of options for kids here. The restaurant’s lively atmosphere and friendly service make it a great option for a casual dinner with friends or family.

4. San Angel Inn Restaurante – While this incredible setting also would make for a great date night, our kids really enjoyed this meal inside the Mayan pyramid at the Mexico pavilion. The food was delicious and the setting next to the indoor river makes this a memorable experience. (Plus you can go ride the Gran Fiesta Tour Boat ride after eating!) 

5. Biergarten – Equal parts entertaining and filling, Biergarten’s buffet style meal has lots of options for the whole family. 

If you love sausage and salads, you family will love filling up at this fun buffet style meal. They also have an extension beer menu as well!

Honorable mention: Sitting next to the aquariums at Coral Reef is always a great time, but this restaurant primarily has seafood on the menu so make sure your party loves seafood!

Noticeably missing: Space 220 is a neat experience, but as one of the most expensive dining experiences we have done on property (including character meals), we felt the price was a bit more expensive than it was justified at this meal. This was a “one and done” for us.

EPCOT Date Night

There are also some stellar options at EPCOT to have a beautiful date night is an elegant setting. These restaurants stood out as the most unique options when you may be planning an adults only meal or Disney date night with your significant other. 

Le Cellier Steakhouse

Le Cellier Steakhouse is a popular table service restaurant located in the Canada Pavilion at EPCOT. The restaurant is known for its signature dish, the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, which is a must-try for any first-time visitor.

The menu also features a variety of steak options, including filet mignon and ribeye, as well as seafood and vegetarian options. The restaurant’s cozy atmosphere and attentive service make it a great option for a romantic dinner or special occasion.

Coral Reef Restaurant

The Coral Reef Restaurant is a unique dining experience located in The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion. The restaurant features a massive aquarium that spans the length of the dining room, providing guests with a stunning view of marine life while they enjoy their meal.

The menu features a variety of seafood options, including lobster bisque, grilled swordfish, and seared scallops. The restaurant also offers non-seafood options, such as grilled chicken and filet mignon. Monsieur Paul 

This elevated dining option is the perfect setting for a romantic date night! Dine with a selection of elegant French fare options, and finish off the evening with a glass of wine in the France pavilion making this an excellent date night selection.

One of the things we like the most about visiting EPCOT is the unique experiences and cuisine that we can have there. Our family has our favorite restaurants that we like to visit often, but on each of our trips we also like trying at least one new restaurant that our family has never eaten at before!

International Cuisine

EPCOT is known for its diverse and authentic international cuisine, and its table service restaurants are no exception. From Japanese sushi to French escargot, guests can indulge in a variety of dishes from around the world. Standout experiences include:

• Le Cellier Steakhouse: This Canadian-themed restaurant offers delicious steaks and poutine, a classic Canadian dish made with french fries and cheese curds.

Tips for Enjoying Table Service at EPCOT

As mentioned, there are so many great options for food at EPCOT you really can’t go wrong with choosing a restaurant here for an excellent table service experience. We have enjoyed all of the restaurants we’ve tried in this theme park. 

Reservations

Making reservations is highly recommended for table service restaurants at EPCOT. Guests can make reservations up to 60 days in advance through the My Disney Experience app or by calling Disney Dining.

It is important to note that restaurant reservations require a credit card to hold the reservation and have a cancellation policy of 24 hours in advance.

Disney Dining Plan

Guests may be able to use the Disney Dining Plan to pay for their table service meals at EPCOT. The Dining Plan includes one table service credit per person per night of stay. Also, to factor into your planning, gratuity is not included in the Dining Plan and must be paid separately.

Some restaurants do not accept the dining plan, so make sure to double check the restaurant list before making your reservation if you plan to use a Disney Dining Plan.
