Coral Reef restaurant offers delicious menu offerings and a magical ambiance, unique from other restaurants at EPCOT.

We’ll break down why we have dined here a number of times, and what makes this restaurant a great choice for families!

Overview of Coral Reef Restaurant

Coral Reef Restaurant offers a unique experience with views of a large aquarium filled with colorful fish and sea life. This dining spot combines delicious seafood with an amazing underwater ambiance!

If your kids love aquariums, this will be a great fit because of the over all theme of the restaurant. We also enjoyed our food on our last visit and thought the value was in line with the experience.

Ambiance and Layout

The ambiance at the Coral Reef Restaurant is designed to transport you into an underwater world. With captivating views of sea life, it creates a unique experience for diners. You can enjoy a meal while surrounded by the beauty of the Living Seas Aquarium.

Tables are positioned strategically so that every seat gives a great view of the aquariums. Comfortable chairs and smooth table settings create a pleasant dining experience.

The restaurant decor has remained the same over the years, but I enjoy the under the sea vibes and appearance that starts as soon as you step into the restaurant lobby.

Coral Reef Menu Selections

The menu at Coral Reef Restaurant in EPCOT features a variety of seafood-focused dishes alongside options for non-seafood lovers.

The meal started with a bread service, and they also have gluten free bread options as well. You can enjoy appetizers like Lobster Bisque or Caribbean Salad. Some of the stand out entrées were Grilled Mahi Mahi, Shrimp Fettuccine, or a Surf and Turf option.

For those who prefer something different, the menu also includes a few chicken, and plant-based options. They also offer a good selection of desserts.

My daughter also ordered the Shark Tank lemonade, and it was a fun beverage option for kids!

With its fresh flavors and an emphasis on ocean-inspired cuisine, Coral Reef is a unique dining experience surrounded by the beauty of an undersea world.

The menu above is from our visit in July 2024! And they do have allergy friendly menus with the information as shown, if you are avoiding a particular food item. I find this to be incredibly helpful, as I have a soy intolerance and this helps me avoid anything that has soy in it.

Reservations and Planning

Reservations for Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT are highly recommended, as this unique dining location with views of the aquarium can be popular, especially during peak travel seasons.

Booking in Advance

Guests can book through the My Disney Experience app, the Disney World website, or by calling Disney Dining up to 60 days (plus length of stay for Disney Resort guests) in advance. While same-day reservations or walk-ups may sometimes be available, they are not guaranteed, so securing a spot early is the best way to ensure your preferred dining time.

If you’re unable to find a reservation, using a reservation alert service like MouseDining can help notify you when a spot opens up.

Meal Pricing

Meals at Coral Reef are charged by what you order, and there is a kids menu available for children ages 3-9 years old. We found the pricing to be reasonable for a Disney restaurant, with entree prices ranging in the $28 to $45 range. Kids meals are around the $13-$14 range.

For the quality of the food combined with the unique ambiance, we felt like the pricing was well matched with the experience you receive.

Rating Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT

Rating: 5 out of 5.

This is a fun experience that our family loves at EPCOT! Overall, for the food and atmosphere Coral Reef is a great value and our whole family enjoys this one.

The only instances where I wouldn’t recommend Coral Reef, is if your family doesn’t like seafood. There are a number of great options inside EPCOT – like Garden Grill, Le Cellier, and Biergarten, which are fantastic options with great food that offer a different menu.

If your family loves seafood and enjoys aquariums though, this one is high on our list to recommend trying! Learn more about the table service options at EPCOT.
