When you’re at Walt Disney World, you want to start your day off right with a delicious breakfast that’s quick and convenient. Lucky for you, each park has some great options for quick service breakfasts. Here are the top spots to grab a quick bite in each park starting at 9am.

Magic Kingdom

Right as you enter the theme park, Main Street Confectionary opens at 9am to start your day off with a sweet treat. They have cake pops, caramel apples, and chocolate covered strawberries.

If you’re looking for a classic breakfast, head to Main Street Bakery. This cozy spot serves up fresh pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee. You can also grab a Mickey-shaped cinnamon roll for a sweet treat and some Starbucks coffee.

For something heartier, try Sleepy Hollow. They offer a variety of savory waffle sandwiches, including a ham, egg, and cheese waffle sandwich that’s sure to satisfy. Our favorite is the fruit waffle!

Westward Ho quick service stand in Frontierland offers donut holes, a biscuit breakfast sandwich, and Joffrey’s Cold Brew coffee. (Starting at 9:30am.)

The Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland is open at 9am and offers breakfast sandwiches, sausage gravy, cinnamon-sugar donuts, and Joffrey’s Cold Brew Coffee.

Gaston’s Tavern in the back of Fantasyland offers the iconic Grey Stuff cupcake and warm cinnamon roll options, and also a ham, swiss, and provolone sandwich that works for a heavier breakfast option.

Cheshire Cat Cafe in-between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland offers Cheshire Cat Tail pastries and Joffrey’s Cold Brew coffee.

There’s also a free standing Joffrey’s Coffee stand in Tomorrowland that is open for breakfast as well.

The Lunching Pad (despite the name!) in Tomorrowland also serves breakfast, and you can find sticky bubble bread here along with a potato barrel breakfast bowl. I think this is one of the most overlooked breakfast options in Magic Kingdom!

EPCOT

EPCOT has a number of quick service breakfast options that are spread throughout the theme park. Although a majority of the World Showcase doesn’t open until 11am, there are a number of options below that are offered at the typical 9am opening time.

If you’re in the mood for something international, head to Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France pavilion. They offer a variety of pastries, quiches, and croissants that are sure to transport you to Paris.

Also in France, Crepes A Emporter by La Creperie de Paris serves traditional French crepes quick service style. You can go for either a savory or sweet option.

In Germany, the Karamell-Kuche bakery has a number of options that would work for a light breakfast.

In Morocco, the Oasis Sweets & Sips opens at 9am and has a variety of pastry assortment options with Mediterranean flair.

And Norway, the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe is open at 9am and they serve a number of pastery treats including the popular School Bread roll. I also tried the Kristoff Kaffe on my recent trip, it was a delightful frozen coffee with a coffee-chocolate sauce and crunch garnish that was a fun way to start the day!

Towards the front of the park, Sunshine Seasons in The Land pavilion is a great spot for a quick breakfast. They offer a variety of options, from breakfast sandwiches to yogurt parfaits. You can also grab a coffee or smoothie to go.

There are also Joffrey’s kiosks located throughout the EPCOT – first at the Monorail Station, at Showcase Plaza just outside of Mexico, in Canada, The American Adventure, and in the World Discovery area. You can grab an iced coffee and one of their infamous donuts for a fun sweet treat.

And if you’re in a hurry and like Starbucks coffee, Connections Cafe serves Starbucks coffee and traditional breakfast offerings.

Check the times for other locations you’re interested in visiting on your EPCOT day, as a majority of the dining options open at 11am.

Hollywood Studios

There are a number of quick service breakfast options, right in the front of the theme park.

Head to Hollywood Scoops for the Waffle Platter that includes classic Mickey waffles, blueberries, whipped cream, and syrup.

Anaheim Produce offers fresh fruit and healthy snacks. Or add in a churro or Mickey pretzel to include a classic Disney snack!

For a classic breakfast that is a bit more hearty, head to Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land. They offer a breakfast bowl with eggs, potato barrels, and brisket, as well as a breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon, and American cheese. Or grab one of their fun lunch box tart pastries!

If you’re in the mood for something sweet, try the carrot cake whoopie pie at Trolley Car Café. It’s a delicious way to start your day. They also serve an assortment of Starbucks coffees and breakfast items like breakfast sandwiches and pastries.

There’s also a Joffrey’s Coffee location in the Pixar Plaza area at Hollywood Studios. And the Market, directly next to Joffrey’s is also open at 9am if you want to grab a fountain beverage or Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookie for a cheat breakfast!

One of my favorite breakfasts in the theme parks is actually at Hollywood Studios, inside Galaxy’s Edge. Ronto Roasters is only open from 9am to 3pm, and their breakfast of the Rising Moons Overnight Oats, Ronto Morning Wrap, and a Tatooine Sunset tea is one of my must haves on every trip!

And visit Kat Saka’s Kettle to pick up a Cold Brew Black Caf coffee – which also makes a great photo as well as tasting great!

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is one of the theme parks that is usually open the earliest, and for that reason it has a number of great classic breakfast options.

Head back to the Africa section of the park to find a number of quick service meal options all in one location, and a quiet seating area to have you meal. Tamu Tamu Refreshments offers a Mickey cinnamon roll, blueberry muffin, and African coffee.

Just across the walkway in Africa, Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery has egg and bacon croissant sandwich, breakfast totchos, overnight oats, and pastries. You’ll also find Joffrey’s coffee served here.

Also located in the Africa section, Mahindi opens early and has quick snacks like popcorn and cinnamon glazed pecans.

We like going to character dining meals for breakfast to start off our day on a fun note. It is also the cheaper meal option for character meals, so you get a fill up at a slightly lower cost.

Not only do you get to enjoy a delicious meal, but you also get to meet some of your favorite Disney characters up close and personal.

Planning Your Breakfast Adventure

When it comes to quick service breakfasts at Walt Disney World theme parks, planning ahead can make all the difference. Here are some tips to help you start your day off right:

Best Times for Breakfast

If you want to beat the crowds and get a head start on your day, consider arriving at the park before it opens. This is known as “rope drop” and can give you a chance to enjoy a quiet breakfast before the park gets busy.

Alternatively, if you prefer a more leisurely start to your day, you can plan to have breakfast a little later in the morning. Many quick service restaurants at Walt Disney World serve breakfast until 11am, so you can sleep in and still enjoy a delicious meal.

Starting off Your Disney Day

No matter if you’re grabbing a quick service meal in the theme parks, stopping by a character dining experience, or getting a quick meal at your resort – there are a number of different breakfast dining options to start your day.

For many families, grabbing a quick service breakfast is the quickest way to get the day started. And we sometimes keep yogurts or light snacks like applesauce in our room, to feed the kids before we head out for the day. To account for transportation time to get to the theme park, or getting to a character dining experience.
