Arriving early not only ensures that you get the most out of your ticket, but it also allows you to experience the park during the day and get a head start on the festivities.

Entry Times and Wristbands

To gain entry to the party, you must have a special wristband that is given to you when you arrive at the park. Cast members will be stationed at the entrance to the park to distribute wristbands to party guests.

First Activities to Target

Once you have your wristband, it’s time to start planning your evening. One of the first things you should do is pick up a party map and schedule of events. These can be found at the entrance to the park and at various locations throughout the park.

Take a few minutes to look over the schedule and decide which activities and attractions you want to experience first.

You’ll also be given a complimentary treat bag as you enter for the party night, and we have always found that these are more than big enough to hold all of the candy that we get during the night. However if you want to bring your own treat bag, you can do that as well.

Main Street U.S.A is a great place to start your evening. You’ll find Halloween decorations, special lighting, and music that sets the mood for the party. Be sure to check out the special Halloween-themed treats and merchandise that are available exclusively during the party.

You can also catch the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, which includes favorite Disney characters in Halloween costumes, as well as the Headless Horseman riding his horse down Main Street.

Another must-see is the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show, which features a spooky soundtrack and special effects. This show is only available during the Halloween party, so be sure to plan it into your party schedule.

Recommended Rides for Halloween

While all of the attractions are open during the party, some are more Halloween-themed than others. Space Mountain is transformed into a spooky ride called Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, and Pirates of the Caribbean has a special Halloween overlay. The Haunted Mansion is also a classic Halloween attraction, with spooky ghosts and eerie effects.

If you’re looking for a more lighthearted ride, check out Stitch’s Great Escape in Tomorrowland or any of the rides in Fantasyland. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Storybook Circus are also great options for families with young children.

Most party nights, the rides will have shorter lines than are regularly available on a busy Magic Kingdom, so plan some time into your schedule to catch your favorite rides around your must do attraction times! By planning ahead and knowing which attractions to prioritize, you can make the most of your night at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Trick-or-Treating at the Magic Kingdom

Trick-or-treating at the Magic Kingdom during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a must-do activity for both kids and adults. Treat trails can be found throughout all of the different lands inside Magic Kingdom.

Here are some tips to make the most out of your trick-or-treating experience:

Finding Treat Stations

The Magic Kingdom is filled with treat stations during the party. You can easily spot them by looking for the large inflatable pumpkin markers. These markers indicate that you have arrived at a treat station. There are around 20 treat stations scattered throughout the park, so you won’t have to walk too far to find the candy stops.

It’s important to note that some treat stations may have longer lines than others. If you want to avoid the crowds, try visiting the treat stations located in the more distant areas of the park, such as Adventureland or Frontierland.

Allergy-Friendly Options

If you or someone in your party has food allergies, don’t worry! The Magic Kingdom offers allergy-friendly treat options at every treat station. Just look for the teal-colored allergy-friendly markers at each station.

You can also ask for a special teal-colored bag at the first treat station you visit. This bag will let the cast members know that you require allergy-friendly treats. The cast members will then provide you with special tokens that you can exchange for allergy-friendly treats at any treat station.

Trick-or-treating at the Magic Kingdom during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a fun and exciting experience for all ages!

Dressing Up for the Occasion

If you’re planning to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, dressing up is a must! This event is all about getting into the Halloween spirit, and what better way to do that than by donning a fun and festive costume? Here are some tips to help you choose the perfect costume for the occasion.

Costume Ideas and Guidelines

When it comes to costume ideas, the possibilities are endless! You can go for a classic Disney character, a spooky ghost or ghoul, or even a funny pun costume. Just keep in mind that there are some guidelines you’ll need to follow.

First, costumes should be family-friendly and not too scary or gory. This is a party for all ages, so make sure your costume won’t frighten any young children. Additionally, costumes should not contain any weapons or sharp objects, and masks that cover the entire face are not allowed.

We opted for Alice in Wonderland inspired costumes in 2022!

If you’re unsure about whether your costume meets the guidelines, you can always check the official Disney website for more information.

When it comes to choosing a costume, it’s important to consider the weather. Florida can still be quite warm in October, so you may want to opt for a lighter costume or one that can be easily layered.

No matter what costume you choose, make sure it’s comfortable and easy to move around in. You’ll be spending a lot of time walking around the park and enjoying the festivities, so you don’t want to be weighed down by a bulky or uncomfortable costume.

Dressing up for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a fun and exciting way to get into the Halloween spirit. Both adults and children will enjoy dressing up for this special event! Just remember to follow the costume guidelines and choose a comfortable and weather-appropriate outfit.
