Tiffins Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Tiffins Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is one of the most unique table-service restaurants inside a Walt Disney World theme park. This signature dining location offers an elevated menu, beautiful artwork, and a relaxed but special atmosphere that makes it a great choice for a date night, celebration meal, or a more grown-up dining experience during your Animal Kingdom day.

We have dined at Tiffins several times, and it is one of those restaurants that feels elegant while still being very comfortable for a theme park day. Since it is located inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you are totally fine dining here in your park outfit, but the food and atmosphere still feel more elevated than a typical theme park meal.

Overview of Tiffins Restaurant at Animal Kingdom
Tiffins Restaurant is located on Discovery Island inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This is a signature dining restaurant inspired by travel, exploration, and the creation of Animal Kingdom itself.

The restaurant has an adventurous but elegant feel, with artwork, sketches, and design details throughout the dining rooms.
Tiffins is a nice choice if you want something more relaxing and refined during your Animal Kingdom day. It is still family-friendly, but the menu and atmosphere make it feel like a step up from quick-service dining or more casual table-service restaurants in the park.

This is also a great restaurant to keep in mind for adults, couples, or families with older kids who enjoy trying different foods. The menu includes African, Asian, and Latin-inspired flavors.
Tiffins Restaurant Menu Selections
The menu at Tiffins is more adventurous than some other Disney World restaurants, but that is part of what makes it special. You will find globally inspired dishes, appetizers that are great for sharing, and beautifully plated entrées.

One of our favorite things here is the bread service, and I really think it is a must-try if you are dining at Tiffins. It is such a fun starter for the table and a great way to begin the meal.
Tiffins also has wonderful appetizers for sharing, including options like a charcuterie and cheese board. If you are not quite sure about committing to a full signature dining meal, ordering a few appetizers to share can be a nice way to enjoy the restaurant.

The menu currently has items such as Pork Belly Bao Buns, Gobi Manchurian, signature bread service, Grilled Beef Tenderloin, Regional Curry Tasting, Shrimp and Grits, Seasonal Sorbet Trio, and Fresh Fruit Flan. Menu items can change, so I always recommend checking the current menu before your visit.
Overall, this is a restaurant for guests who enjoy bold flavors and a more creative menu. If you have very picky eaters in your group, you may want to review the menu ahead of time to make sure everyone will find something they enjoy.
Atmosphere at Tiffins Restaurant
The atmosphere is one of the things that makes Tiffins feel so special. It is elegant, warm, and full of details connected to travel and Animal Kingdom’s story. We enjoy taking a break here just to enjoy the art and specialty dishes.
The restaurant has multiple dining rooms, with artwork and design elements inspired by the Imagineers and animal experts who helped create Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney notes that the restaurant includes photograph collages, paintings, sculptures, field sketches, and earth-tone colors that give the space a warm and inviting feel.

Even though it is a signature restaurant, Tiffins does not feel stuffy. You can absolutely come here in your regular Animal Kingdom park clothes. That is one of the reasons I like it so much! It feels special without requiring you to leave the park or dress up.

This makes it a wonderful option for a birthday, anniversary, date night, or a more relaxed mid-day break from the heat and crowds.
Reservations and Planning
Reservations are highly recommended for Tiffins Restaurant, especially if you are hoping to dine during a busy travel season or around a specific meal time.

You can make reservations through the My Disney Experience app or through the Disney World website. Since this is an in-park table-service restaurant, you will also need valid admission to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to dine here.
Tiffins currently serves both lunch and dinner. Disney lists lunch beginning at 11:30 AM and dinner beginning at 4:00 PM, though hours can always change.
If you are planning a full Animal Kingdom day, this can be a great lunch option when you want to get out of the heat for a while. For a more romantic or special meal, dinner is a lovely choice too.

If you cannot find the reservation time you want right away, keep checking. Dining reservations often open up as other guests change their plans.
You can also use a reservation alert service like MouseDining to be notified if a time becomes available.
Meal Pricing at Tiffins
Tiffins is one of the more expensive dining options at Disney’s Animal Kingdom because it is a signature dining restaurant.

Disney currently lists both lunch and dinner at Tiffins in the $$$ range, which means the average adult entrée price is currently listed between $35 and $59.99. Pricing can change, so be sure to check the current menu before your trip.
Because this is a signature restaurant, the total cost can add up quickly once you include appetizers, drinks, entrées, desserts, tax, and gratuity. However, the atmosphere and quality of the meal make it feel more like a special dining experience than a regular theme park meal.

If you are celebrating something or want a nicer meal during your Animal Kingdom day, Tiffins can be a great option.
Using the Disney Dining Plan at Tiffins
If you are using the Disney Dining Plan, Tiffins currently requires 2 Table-Service meals per person for lunch or dinner.
Because of that, I would compare the cost of paying out of pocket versus using dining credits before deciding. Signature restaurants are not always the best value on the Dining Plan, depending on what you order.

If you are trying to stretch your dining credits, you may prefer using them at a 1-credit table-service restaurant instead. But if Tiffins is high on your list and you want a signature dining experience inside Animal Kingdom, using dining credits here may still be worth it for your family.
Is Tiffins Restaurant Worth It?
Tiffins is worth it if you are looking for an elevated dining experience inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

This is not the restaurant I would choose if your main goal is the cheapest meal, the fastest meal, or the most kid-friendly menu. But if you want beautiful theming, a calmer setting, and a more adventurous menu, Tiffins is a wonderful choice.
I especially think Tiffins is a good fit for:
- Couples visiting Animal Kingdom
- Adults looking for a quieter meal
- Families with older kids or adventurous eaters
- Special occasions
- Guests who enjoy trying more unique menu items
- Anyone who wants a break from typical theme park food
We really enjoy the bread service here, and the appetizers are great for sharing. The restaurant feels elegant and special, but still relaxed enough for a park day.
If you are visiting Animal Kingdom and want a meal that feels different from the usual theme park dining experience, Tiffins is definitely one to consider.
Rating Tiffins Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Rating: 5 out of 5
We have really enjoyed our meals at Tiffins Restaurant. The atmosphere is beautiful, the menu is unique, and it feels like one of the more special dining experiences you can have inside a Disney World theme park.

The bread service is a favorite for us, and I love that the appetizers are easy to share if you want to try a few different things. It is also a great option for a celebration or date night without needing to leave Animal Kingdom.
The main thing to keep in mind is that the menu may not be the best fit for every family, especially if you have picky eaters or younger kids who prefer more familiar foods. I would definitely look over the current menu before booking.

But for guests who enjoy signature dining, beautiful theming, and globally inspired food, Tiffins is one of the best table-service restaurants at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
