What is the Castaway Club?
The Castaway Club is Disney Cruise Line’s way of rewarding guests who return for more magical voyages. Membership is automatic! After your very first Disney Cruise, you’re enrolled in the program, and your status level grows with each completed sailing.
Your Castaway Club number will stay with you, and each time you cruise, you’ll enjoy more benefits and new surprises.
Just make sure that you sail at least once in a 5 year period to retain that Castaway Club level. They did recently introduce that your level can expire if you do not sail in a 5 year timeframe.
Castaway Club Membership Levels
Disney Cruise Line has four main tiers in the Castaway Club program:
- Silver: Earned after your first completed cruise.
- Gold: Earned after five completed cruises.
- Platinum: Earned after ten completed cruises.
And Disney announced a new Pearl level for guests with 25 or more cruises, unlocking even more exclusive perks for avid cruisers!

Silver Member Perks
- Book new itineraries 1 day before the public.
- Reserve activities and excursions 90 days before sailing.
- Exclusive Castaway Club gift: A complimentary keepsake waiting in your stateroom.
- Dedicated check-in line at the port when available.
Gold Member Perks
All Silver perks, plus:
- Book new itineraries 2 days before general public.
- Reserve cruise activities at 105 days before sailing.
- Special onboard reception for Gold and above members. (8 day sailings or longer, when available.)
- Discounts on select merchandise and experiences. (10% discount on merchandise with exclusions. Alcohol and other items are not included in this promotion.)
Platinum Member Perks
All Gold perks, plus:
- Book new itineraries 3 days before general public.
- Reserve activities at 120 days before sailing.
- Priority boarding on embarkation day.
- Complimentary Palo dinner (one per stateroom, per cruise).
Pearl Member Perks
All Platinum perks, plus:
- Book new itineraries 4 days before general public.
- Reserve cruise activities at 123 days before sailing.
- Special premium gift exclusively for Pearl members.
- Complimentary unlimited digital downloads of your cruise photos.
