Cinderella’s Royal Table Review | Magic Kingdom Dining

One of the most regal dining experiences in all of Walt Disney World is Cinderella’s Royal Table inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. This dining experience gives you access to have a meal inside the castle, dine with princesses, and get some really special photos!

We have dined at Cinderella’s Royal Table a number of times. While it is definitely not the most economical dining option at Walt Disney World, it is one of the most memorable!

This is one of Disney’s signature dining experiences, with excellent food and unmatched ambiance.

Overview of Cinderella’s Royal Table

This table-service restaurant offers the unique opportunity to dine in a regal setting while meeting beloved Disney princesses.

With its medieval-inspired decor, stained-glass windows, and grand archways, the restaurant immerses you in a fairytale atmosphere from the moment you step inside.

Princess Appearances

There are a number of Disney Princesses that you can meet while at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Cinderella herself greets you as you arrive in the lobby. There is typically a PhotoPass photographer there to get your photo.

After you are called up the stairs (or elevator) to the main dining hall, you’ll see the other princesses in attendance. We have seen a variety of princesses here on our trips, most often we have seen Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Ariel, Jasmine, and Rapunzel here.

It will be a pleasant surprise which princesses you may see on your trip!

Ambiance and Layout

Dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table is a truly magical experience inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. From the moment you walk in, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale. There are stone archways, colorful stained-glass windows, and regal banners hanging from the ceiling. 

The dining room has a cozy but elegant feel, with medieval-style chandeliers and beautiful castle details all around.

Cinderella’s Royal Table Menu Selections

At breakfast, there is a hearty selection of entrees like a traditional breakfast plate, shrimp and grits, or the banana-stuffed toast. You’ll start your meal with a pastry plater and the prix fixe meal includes your drink, starter, and entree.

The lunch and dinner menu at Cinderella’s Royal Table features a prix fixe, three-course meal with a mix of elevated, classic flavors fit for royalty. 

You’ll start your meal with an appetizer, like Chilled Jumbo Shrimp or the Castle Salad. Then choose from a selection of entree options like Grilled Filet Mignon, Marinated Grilled Chicken, or a Pan-roasted Cauliflower. 

The meal ends on a sweet note with decadent desserts, including the signature The Clock Strikes Twelve, a rich chocolate mousse-inspired treat.

Kids also get a special three-course meal also with fun, flavorful choices. Each dish is beautifully plated, adding to the elegant dining experience inside Cinderella Castle.

Reservations and Planning

This is one of the hardest dining reservations to get at Walt Disney World! Sought after because of its unique location and experience, you’re going to want to book this one as soon as your dining window opens. For Disney Resort guests that is at the 60 day (plus length of stay) mark, and the dining window opens at 60 days for all other guests.

Also, it should be noted that this is one of the few dining experiences that you have to pay for in its entirety when you book. (Additional gratuity can be added on for your server at the time of your meal.)

Meal Pricing

Pricing of the meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of the highest, as this is one of Disney World’s signature character dining experiences. This meal is one of the few ways to be able to enter Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, and offers fantastic views of Fantasyland below.

Currently, breakfast is priced at $74 per adult and $45 per child (ages 3-9), plus tax and gratuity. Lunch and dinner are priced at $88 per adult and $52 per child (ages 3-9), plus tax and gratuity.

​​Cinderella’s Royal Table offers a prix fixe dining experience, meaning guests pay a set price for a multi-course meal that includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Since the meal is prix fixe, there’s no need to worry about individual item pricing—everything is included in the set cost, making it a convenient and stress-free way to indulge in a regal dining experience with Disney princesses.

Dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table is more than just a meal—it’s an immersive storybook experience. While this isn’t a meal that we dine at on every trip, it is an amazing experience that we highly recommend. Especially for Disney Princess fans and children that are right in the sweet spot age wise for character interactions.

Our family rating for Cinderella’s Royal Table is 5 stars – for food, interactions, and being able to dine inside the castle. We eaten here a number of times and reserve this meal for special occasions and celebrations.

This meal may be spendy, but it is an experience you won’t soon forget. So if it’s in the budget, we recommend giving this one a try and making it a highlight of your Disney World vacation!
