Harmony Barber Shop is a real working barbershop located right inside Magic Kingdom Park. While it might seem like a hidden gem, it’s been a cherished tradition for many Disney-loving families for years.
They offer haircuts for guests of all ages, but their “My First Haircut” package is what truly sets this location apart.
Why Choose Harmony Barber Shop for a First Haircut?
We chose experience for our younger daughter’s very first haircut, and it was everything we hoped it would be!! From the moment we arrived, the Cast Members made it incredibly special.
They took their time, helped our daughter feel comfortable, and made it feel like a celebration.
Here’s what makes it so magical:
- Special “First Haircut” package includes a commemorative certificate and “My First Haircut” embroidered Mickey ears.
- You’re welcome to take all the photos and videos you’d like and the Cast Members are happy to help capture those special moments.
- The barbers are so patient and great with kids, helping nervous little ones feel at ease.
- They give out stickers and other items to keep kids entertained during the cut!
What Does It Cost?
One of the best parts of the “My First Haircut” experience? The price! It’s currently priced at $28, which is a great value considering it includes a haircut, Mickey ears, and a personalized certificate.
Regular children’s haircuts are also $20, and adult haircuts are around $21. Compared to theme park pricing elsewhere, this is incredibly reasonable! And the added magic makes it more than worth it!

Tips for Booking Harmony Barber Shop
This is an experience that fills up quickly because of limited availability!
- Reservations are strongly recommended. Harmony Barber Shop is small and fills up quickly, especially for first haircut appointments.
- You can book up to 60 days in advance via the My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World website.
- Walk-ups are sometimes available, but they’re not guaranteed… especially during busy seasons!
