Disney Treasure Dining Guide | Everything You Need to Know Before You Sail
Our recent 7-night sailing aboard the Disney Treasure was a fantastic experience, and the dining on the ship was one of the highlights! You’ll rotate between three main restaurants while you’re on the Disney Treasure, and our guide for families below will help you plan for these experiences!

We’ve included menu information and look at some of the dishes. Plus we even have some tips for what outfits to wear to the dinners! The restaurants on the Disney Treasure help bring together your family every night and will be an integral part of your ship experience!
How Dining Works on the Disney Treasure
One of the unique things about Disney cruises are their rotational dining for dinners! We love this experience and being able to try out a number of different restaurants on the cruise. Dining is a highlight of our experiences at Walt Disney World and that is also true of our experiences on Disney Cruise Line!
Each night you will go to your assigned dining room, and you servers will go with you! That way you are seeing the same team each night and they can learn your preferences as the week goes on. We enjoy the high level of quality and service that we’ve experienced on Disney cruises.
On the Disney Treasure, we were assigned each dining room two nights, and one restaurant we repeated a third night with a Pirate Night menu.
Our rotation was 1231231 – meaning that we went to the restaurants in that order of repeating. With Plaza de Coco being our 1 restaurant, 1923 being our 2 restaurant, and Worlds of Marveling being our 3 restaurant.
Your dining order will be assigned to you on embarkation day, and you can find your dining room for the evening on your digital Navigator in the Disney Cruise app. These restaurants are all included with your Disney Cruise experience! And there is no additional charge for the meals, unless you want to order a specialty drink.
Early Dining Versus Late Dining
There are two main dining times offered on Disney Cruise ships. They can be refereed to first seating and second seating, or early dining and late dining. Early dining is offered around 5:45pm and late dining is around 8:15pm. For our family, early dining is the best fit and we make sure to try to request this time ahead of our sailing.
If the early dining is full on your sailing, you may be able to waitlist for the earlier time and move to that time if there are openings. Our family has tried the later dining one time on a cruise and it didn’t work out for us at all. For some families that are used to eating at a later time, this may be less of an issue. If you’re used to eating around that 5:45pm time when you’re at home though, eating at a the late dining time may be a struggle.
On our Disney Treasure cruise we did get assigned the first seating dining time and that worked great for our family! We live in the Central time zone and this dining time aligned with our natural rhythms. This allowed us to eat around the time we are typically used to eating, and then time to go enjoy a show after dinner. We also go to bed fairly early, so it allowed us to head to bed around 9:30pm to 10pm on some evenings, without having a full stomach from just having had dinner!
Which time will be the best for your family will depend on what time zone you’re coming from and what time you’re typically used to eating dinner. Make sure to request the time that would be your preference when you book, because changing it closer to your sailing will be more difficult.
Disney Treasure Rotational Dining Restaurants
There are three main restaurants that you’ll rotate between on the Disney Treasure. You’ll receive what order you’ll be dining at them on your Navigator when you embark the ship.
Our dining rotation had us at all of the restaurants twice, and Plaza de Coco we were at a third time for Pirate Night.
Plaza de Coco
Our first night on the ship we had dinner at Plaza de Coco! This is a show restaurant that will have two different shows during your cruise.
During the first show, it is a celebration of family at the “Evening of Familia” and everyone coming together to eat! We had this show on the first night of the cruise.
On the fourth night of the cruise, we rotated back to Plaza de Coco but this was also our Pirate Night! You can find out more about this night and the menu that is the same across all restaurants on the ship below!
The final night of the cruise found us back at Plaza de Coco! This was another show night and this one centering on a story of “Remember Me: Una Celebración de Familia” which brings back Miguel, along with Héctor and Mamá Imelda. If you’ve see the movie Coco, this ties into the storyline you’ve seen in the movie! This day of the Dead celebration was a wonderful finale in the space!
1923
Dinner at 1923 is an elegant affair! There are two distinct menu nights that you’ll have when rotating to this restaurant.
Our second night on the cruise and first time at 1923 also happened to be formal night. This was a coincidence that it was formal night and everyone on the ship had Formal Night that night, regardless of their dining rotation. This night featured the standard 1923 menu.
Our second time at 1923 was the fifth night of the cruise. This night we had the Captain’s Gala menu and it was lobster night!
Worlds of Marvel
Worlds of Marvel is a fun and interactive space on the Disney Treasure. We had dinner here on our second and fifth nights! At both dinners you use your “Quantum Core” device at the table to interact. Do note that these stay on the table, but if you love the Quantum Core, they do have a sipper cup you can purchase to bring home!
For our first time at this dining location, there was a show “Avengers: Quantum Encounter“! The show was similar to what we had seen on the Disney Wish, however it had a slighty different ending than the one we had seen. They also had dialed back the sound and effects, which in my opinion made it more enjoyable! (SPOILER: Towards the end of dinner, Spiderman shows up!)
On our fifth night it was a Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix! This one was actually my favorite! You get to see a number of Marvel scenes and test your knowledge with some trivia at your table!

Plaza de Coco: Evening of Familia Menu
Plaza de Coco had a really menu for our family! My favorite item was the “Remember Me” Sundae though!

This evening was a highlight and also our last night on the cruise! Two appetizers, pork carnitas, and churros were a great way to end our last dining experience on this Disney Treasure sailing!
1923: Standard Menu Evening
We picked so many great options on our first night at 1923! Every time I ordered a beef dish on the cruise it was excellent!
1923: The Captain’s Gala Evening Menu
This evening was a favorite because we all like lobster! My daughter was also a fan of the pink lemonade!
Worlds of Marvel: Avengers: Quantum Encounter Menu
Some of our favorites from this night were the Dill Marinated Shrimp; Beef Tenderloin; Udon Noodles, and Pym Doughnut Sundae!

Which Disney Treasure Restaurant is the Best?
Of course this is purely subjective, but one question that comes up is which restaurant is the best on the Disney Treasure!
We thought every restaurant had its highlights, and which one will be the best fit for your family will come down to your individual preferences and tastes.
The show in Plaza de Coco was fantastic and I would cruise on this ship again to head back there! The menu was one of my favorites, and the music was lively and fun! I will say the show on the Disney Wish at Arendelle seemed a bit more over the top. That’s basically because everyone knows the words to the songs, so it becomes a huge sing along!
Worlds of Marvel was a surprise hit for me! We had previously sailed on the Disney Wish right after it started sailing, and I think they were still dialing this experience in at that time. So I went in with lower expectations and Worlds of Marvel exceeded my expectations on every front! The food was amazing! I loved the shows, and the character interaction was fantastic! It was one of my favorite experiences on the ship!
1923 is a consistently good experience! It feels just like the 1923 on the Disney Wish, if you’ve been on one of the other Wish class ships. The food is excellent and it is a nice relaxing experience.
As for which one was the “best”, I do think Plaza de Coco being an exclusive experience aboard the Disney Treasure makes it extra special! I absolutely love all of these show restaurants across the different ships, and I think it makes that one a top one to look forward to!
Pirate Night Dining on the Disney Treasure
Pirate Night is one of our favorite nights on a Disney Cruise that goes to the Caribbean! It’s full of tons of fun, including Pirate Night deck parties, pirate activities, and a special dinner menu that everyone on the ship has at their restaurant that evening!
Instead of missing one of the regular menus at a restaurant, you’ll rotate to one of your restaurants a third time, and this extra evening will be the special Pirate Night menu!
Pirate Night Menu on the Disney Treasure
For our family, we rotated to Plaza de Coco three times! So two of the nights were the shows and menu specific to the restaurant, and the third night was a Pirate Night menu.
Pirate Night will typically fall during the middle of your cruise, and you can find out ahead of time which night this will be by checking the Onboard Activities for “Pirate Makeovers”! These are typically only offered on Pirate Night!
Our Pirate Night was offered on our Grand Cayman Island port day, and this was a perfect way to end a spectacular day in the Caribbean!
Formal Night Dining on the Disney Treasure
Another fun evening on the Disney Treasure is formal night! This is an optional night where you can dress up in a formal outfit of your choosing, and dine at your assigned restaurant for the evening.
On our cruise, this night was our first day at sea and the second night of the cruise. So our assigned dining room was 1923. This worked great as we were able to go get some family photos in our “formal” gear and then head to the restaurant.
The officers of the Disney Treasure are in the lobby and you can stop to talk with them or get photos. We really enjoyed this special evening that is unique to the longer 7-night sailings! And this is something that I look forward to on our future 7-night sailings we have booked!
Is the Food Good on the Disney Treasure?
So after all of that information… for families, is the food good on the Disney Treasure? And yes, I think it absolutely is!
Disney Cruise Line is designed with families in mind, and we thoguht the experience was fantastic for everyone in the family. My kids have grown up going on Disney Cruises and we enjoy having the dinners be a time when everyone comes together in the evenings.
The nice thing is that there is a variety of options on the menus. From specific flavors to kid friendly favorites. Disney Cruise Line will definitely try to make sure everyone is happy with their meals.
I have one child that eats more vegetarian and enjoys adventurous noodle dishes. And another child that likes more “traditional kid food”, but also had gluten intolerance. We find that one our Disney trips we are able to find meals that meet everyone’s needs and unique tastes!
Dining with Allergies on the Disney Treasure
Speaking of intolerances and allergies, this is one of the things that keeps us coming back to Disney experiences. They have specially designed menus already in place to meet the needs of the top 10 allergies. And a system in place for ordering the meals.
When you let your servers know about your allergy, they will make sure the Allergy Chef is aware and that person’s food will be prepared separately from the rest of the table. My daughter was able to order her meals off the allergy menu the night before for the next night’s dinner, and this helped with the flow of having her food come out with ours during the cruise.
Make sure to talk to your serving team on the first night of your cruise, to let them know of any allergy or intolerance concerns you have!
Tips for Dining on the Disney Treasure
A few things to keep in mind if this will be one of your first Disney Cruises! It will help your dining time go smoother!
- Don’t skip your rotational dining! This is a big part of the Disney Cruise Line experience, and we enjoy bringing the family together at dinner every night. If you’re looking at booking one of the paid dining experiences at Palo or Enchanté, we recommend booking those for brunch during a day at sea!
- Arrive on time for dinner! It’s easy to get caught up in activities around the ship, but the dining team is on a tight schedule with getting multiple seatings through the dining room.
- You can order more than one item! It’s a cruise and it’s included. If you see two appetizers you want to try, get them both!
- Cruise casual attire fine all of the nights in the rotational dining rooms. There may be some optional dress up nights on your cruise, but you’re welcome to wear cruise casual attire to rotational dining every night.
Dining is one of those things about the cruise experience that I love, because it’s so easy! So just get there on time and enjoy!
What Should You Wear to Dinner on the Disney Treasure?
Planning my outfits for Disney cruises is one of my favorite things to do, but it’s definitely not something to stress over!

You’ll have two optional dress up nights on the 7-night Caribbean cruises that include Pirate Night and Formal Night.
Attire for all of the evenings can be “cruise casual”, which roughly equates to theme park casual. Shorts and shirts, sundresses, and the like are all fine for the rotational dining restaurants.

The fun part is you can wear outfits to match the dining experiences if you would like! The best part is that it is optional and only if this is something that appeals to you!
Overall Thoughts on Dining Aboard the Disney Treasure
We very much enjoyed the dining on the Disney Treasure, and it would be one of the reasons to book on this ship again! Sailing again on the Disney Treasure is one of my things I would like to do, so that we can try the Eastern Caribbean itinerary. We thought the experience onboard was top notch and the food was excellent.
