The Haunted Mansion Parlor Experience on the Disney Treasure
Grim grinning ghosts have come out to socialize on Disney Cruise Line! The Haunted Mansion Parlor is one of the newest lounge experiences on both the Disney Treasure and the Disney Destiny! We recently sailed on a 7-night Disney Treasure cruise, and The Haunted Mansion Parlor was one of our favorite experiences on the ship.

Find out more about this immersive experience and how it can be family friendly! This is a fantastic place to spend some time if you’re a Haunted Mansion fan, or if you just want to admire the details that Disney Imagineering has put into the space.

This was a highlight of the trip for me! I really appreciated that you could stop in multiple times and it was never the same show twice!
What is The Haunted Mansion Parlor?
One of the unique things that Disney Cruise Line has done on its newest ships, is create spaces that are based on beloved attractions from the theme parks! As avid theme park fans, we loved this nod to some of the classics. And I especially enjoy The Haunted Mansion attraction, so I was really looking forward to seeing this immersive lounge space.

Throughout the space, you’ll find nods to this classic Disney theme park attraction. There’s ringing bells, and also some tambourines that you can use to awaken the spirits! Many of the elements change during your time in the room, and you’ll want to keep an eye on the walls, mirror, and fish tank!

Unlike some of the other lounge spaces on the ship that have age restrictions throughout the entire day, The Haunted Mansion Parlor is family friendly through a majority of the day! (Until 8 or 9 p.m. minors can enter the space.) Meaning you can stop in after dinner and enjoy some of the non-alcoholic (spirits free, if you will!) drink options. And the whole family can enjoy this unique space!

There are also some photo opportunities during the daytime on the cruise, so make sure to check your Disney Cruise Navigator for times to be able to stop into the lounge with the lights on!
Is The Haunted Mansion Parlor Family Friendly?
As mentioned, one of the great things about this space is that the whole family can enjoy it together! There are some time limitations though, so make sure to plan these into your visit.
- Kids and teens are welcome in the space until 9 p.m. on most sailings, after that the lounge space becomes strictly for ages 18+ until the midnight closing time.
- There are multiple photo opportunities in the space during the cruise, check your Disney Cruise Navigator for MagicShot photo sessions in The Haunted Mansion Parlor that are open to the whole family!
- The times the lounge is open will vary depending on your sailing itinerary, but generally the lounge typically opens in the middle of the day and closes at midnight.

This is a great place to stop in after dinner with your kids if you have an earlier dinner time, and enjoy a drink in the evenings before it closes off to adults only.
Our Experience at The Haunted Mansion Parlor
This turned into such a fun location for our family, we ended up stopping in 5 or 6 times during our 7-night sailing! Some nights with our kids to see it, and other nights just my husband and myself while the kids were at the clubs.

Each time you go into The Haunted Mansion Parlor, it is a bit different depending on which part of the show is running. And the menu was large enough that it allowed is to try different types of drinks each time we stopped in.
We also loved how interactive the environment was! Our servers on the sailing made the whole experience incredibly interactive and we loved how they kept us engaged in the show! On our sailing, both Jorge and Wilson were great to come over and not just check on our drinks, but keep the elements interactive. Watch more about our experience in our review on YouTube!
If you’ll be visiting the Disney Treasure soon, stop in to enjoy the parlor. I know their incredible Cast Members will make it entertaining for you!
Menu at The Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Treasure
Keep in mind menus are subject to change, but this is what we found at The Haunted Mansion Parlor during our July 2026 sailing!

One of our repeat favorites was the Happily Never After, a light alcoholic drink that had a rich cherry flavor and was incredibly smooth. This was one that both my husband and I enjoyed!

Wilson also encouraged me to try The Chilling Challenge. We don’t drink much and I’m not particularly fond of tequila. (More of a fruity drink gal!) However he said it was both an essential drink for fans of The Haunted Mansion attraction, and that it would be the best tequila drink you’ll ever try! With a light blend of flavors and citrusy taste.

After his encouragement, I did end up trying this one… and I’m glad that I did! The presenttation was fantastic. This is the drink that you get your “Death Certificate” with, and there are some special effects as they bring the drink to you! Also, the taste was very smooth and this IS actually a drink that I would order again!

I’ll be sailing on the Disney Destiny soon, and although I won’t order The Chilling Challenge every time I stop into the lounge. I will definitely get it at least once during the sailing!
Don’t Miss These Menu Items
Also, there is a great selection of non-alcoholic blended drinks and sodas! A few times we stopped in and just enjoyed these. They were also great for the kids to be able to order when they went into the lounge with us.

The sodas come in special collectible bottles and these would even make a great souvenir to bring home!
One of the other non-alcoholic favorites was The Ghostly Retreat zero-proof drink. This is made with creepy crawly cola, grenadine, black cherry, and eyeball gummies! It also had a souvenir glow cube in it as well!

There’s also a “secret menu” item you can unlock on the digital menu as well! By answering a riddle, this will unlock a menu item previously unseen before!

The Restless Spirits has fantastic presentation and is made for two! This would be a fun drink to share with your group during your visit.
Tips for Visiting The Haunted Mansion Parlor
These are the tips I’ll be using on my upcoming sailing, and that I would recommend after visiting The Haunted Mansion Parlor a number of times on our Disney Treasure sailing!
- Visit right after dinner for a relaxing atmosphere. People are rushing off to a variety of activities after dinner, so we found this to be a fairly low crowd time to visit.
- Try at least one specially themed drink! For adults in your party, get one of the special drinks that you can only get here on the ship! It adds to the experience.
- Don’t skip The Chilling Challenge. I almost did this, and I would have missed out if I wouldn’t have ordered it. I really generally dislike tequila and it this drink was still enjoyable for me.
- Stop in more than once! I enjoyed seeing it during the photo sessions with all of the lights on and effects off. Where it really shines is when all of the effects are going in the evening though. Make sure to stop in to see the show in its different stages. Each time you stop in will be a bit different!
- Don’t skip it if you’re wanting to go in, but do not drink alcohol. There is plenty of fun in this space and a really great spirits free menu. Go in an enjoy the spirit-free menu, even if you plan to skip the “spirited libations“!
These will give you an opportunity see everything the space has to offer! And will help you not feel rushed to enjoy it!
Is The Haunted Mansion Parlor Worth Visiting?
This should definitely be on your “must see” list when you’re sailing on the Disney Treasure or the Disney Destiny! For Haunted Mansion attraction fans, you’ll likely want to plan to stop by multiple times. And don’t forget to look for the special photo opportunities in the space as well!

This is an exciting addition to the new class of Disney Cruise Line ships! And I’m very much looking forward to sailing on the Disney Destiny soon so I can see the space on that ship as well! Check out these other cruising articles to help you plan your time at sea!
