To create an outfit that is inspired by Disney yet comfortable enough for everyday wear, you’ll want to combine everyday clothing pieces into an inspired look.

Use your favorite colors and comfortable materials that will hold up to everyday use. I love layering items like jean jackets in fun colors to add character inspiration and some added interest!

How to Use What You Already Have in the Closet

Use clothing items you already have in your closet by finding items that have the primary colors of your favorite characters. Then build and outfit around these pieces and accessorize to create your look!

For an example, if you have a great yellow dress you can make that an outfit inspired by Belle and add some rose accessories. Pair a blue dress with some sparkly sneakers for Cinderella. Or even be inspired by the main mouse himself, and pair black, red, and yellow together to be inspired by Mickey Mouse!

Blue Dress: Create a look inspired by Belle, Stitch, Cinderella, Dory, or Genie.

Red Top: Create a look inspired by Minnie, Sebastian, or Lightning McQueen.

Purple Cardigan: Create a look inspired by Maleficient, Ursula, or Rapunzel.

Green Skirt: Create a look inspired by Ariel, Tiana, or Tinkerbell.

Teal Dress: Create a look inspired by Merida or Elsa.

Yellow Top: Create a look inspired by Lumiere, Flounder, or Belle.

Creating Looks Based on Characters

Pair fun print shirts with character inspired skirts for a classroom friendly look!

Creating Looks Based on Attractions

You can even create outfits that are inspired by your favorite attractions! Pick an entire land like Tomorrowland, to get inspiration for your outfit. Or choose a ride, like Jungle Cruise, that has a distinct atmosphere to theme your outfit around!

I love a great print skirt to wear in education environments, and you can use topics you’ll be talking about in your classroom like space or animals to put a spin on those outfits with fun skirts and accessories. Then you can add in a special Disney inspired touch through a special bracelet, bag or hair accessory to make it one of a kind!

Perfect for a space or Tomorrowland inspired look! These print skirts are so fun!
