Thanks to Getaway Today, I was able to experience the EPCOT After Hours Party in July 2024! It was a ton of fun, and below are some of my top tips to maximize your experience! This is a special ticketed event that only runs on certain nights of the year, so check out Getaway Today’s page on Disney After Hours page to find out if it will be happening during your trip! 

The party officially begins at 10pm and runs until 1am. You’re able to enter the theme park at 7pm though, so make the most of your party time by arriving to EPCOT at dusk and enjoy a nice dinner or scenery around the park before the party starts.

Mission: Space is perfect for thrill-seekers. You can choose between the Orange Team for intense g-forces or the Green Team for a milder journey.

Test Track challenges you to design a virtual car and then test it on a fast-paced ride. (Currently closed for refurbishment.)

Soarin’ Around the World offers breathtaking views of famous landmarks from above, making you feel like you’re flying.

Living with the Land takes you through greenhouses and showcases innovative farming techniques.

Finally, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind delivers a unique blend of storytelling and thrills, making it a must-try for thrill seekers at night.

Included with your After Hours ticket are complimentary soft drinks and water, along with some classic snack options! Pick from popcorn, an ice cream Mickey bar, fruit bars, and more!

At the event, several restaurants stay open, offering tasty dishes. For example, Rose & Crown Pub serves classic British fare like fish and chips. You can also visit Kringla Bakeri for delicious pastries and treats.

Check out the dance party happening over in World Discovery. And don’t forget to stop and get a photo with some of your favorite characters, like Mickey Mouse!

There are also live performers like the Mariachi Cobre in Mexico and live bands at the Canada Mill Stage. 

Shopping After Hours

After Hours events give you a chance to get some shopping done! Stores like Creations Shop and Treasures of Xandar offer exclusive merchandise.

You can find rare items that celebrate EPCOT and its attractions. Don’t forget to check out the World Traveler for unique souvenirs perfect for any trip.

For a limited time, stores stay open longer than usual, so you can enjoy browsing without the usual daytime rush. Plus, Annual Passholders might find special discounts, making shopping even more exciting.

I had a great time at EPCOT After Hours and this is definitely an event I would go to again. Being able to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind multiple times was one of the highlights and the lively atmosphere was a great way to end the evening at Disney!
