This is one of the most popular character dining experiences because of the fantastic menu options and charming ambiance. This is also the only character dining experience that features Lilo & Stitch!

We’ll break down why we have dined here a number of times, and what makes this character dining experience a great choice for families!
Overview of ‘Ohana Character Breakfast
The ‘Ohana Best Friends Breakfast at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a must-do dining experience for families visiting Walt Disney World. This character breakfast features Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto, making it a fun and memorable way to start the day.

Beyond the delicious food, the character interactions make this breakfast extra special. Lilo and Stitch bring their playful energy to the breakfast, while Mickey and Pluto add classic Disney magic, making it perfect for all ages. Our kids have loved this one as preschoolers, elementary aged kids, and even as teens!
Ambiance and Layout
The ambiance at ‘Ohana is warm, inviting, and full of tropical charm, perfectly reflecting the Polynesian Village Resort’s island-inspired theming. The restaurant features wooden décor, tiki carvings, and lush greenery, creating a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

Large windows offer beautiful views of the resort’s tropical landscaping and, in some areas, glimpses of Cinderella Castle in the distance.

On our recent trip there, our table was near the windows and we had a fantastic view of Seven Seas Lagoon during our meal!
‘Ohana Menu Selections
You are welcomed at ‘Ohana with tropical island vibes and a family-style feast that includes scrambled eggs, Mickey waffles, pineapple-coconut bread, breakfast potatoes, and the signature POG (passionfruit, orange, guava) juice. You start the meal with the pineapple bread, fresh fruit, and the fresh POG juice!

Unlike traditional buffets, the food is brought directly to your table family style, allowing for a more relaxed dining experience while you interact with the characters that come around to your table.
One of our favorite parts about this breakfast is that you can ask for more of the specific items that you’re table will eat the most of! Our family loves watermelon, so we asked for another bowl of fresh fruit – heavy on the watermelon! The waffles are also delightful here, they feature both Mickey and Stitch waffles!

The menu is a hit with our family, and it has classics on it like scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, biscuits, and seasoned potatoes.

We have two different allergies in our family as well, and those of us with allergies were brought our own skillets to dine from. If you have a particular food you’re avoiding, make sure to talk with your server ahead of your meal.
Dining with the Characters at ‘Ohana
One of the highlights of this meal is of course, the characters! The characters are only present during the breakfast meal time, and this is the only character dining experience where you can find Stitch!

We loved being able to see Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto. And the characters come right over to your table for photos.

You will also receive an autographed souvenir card to take home with you, that has all four of the characters autographs already on it!
Reservations and Planning
Reservations for the Best Friends Breakfast ‘Ohana are highly recommended, as this is one of the most popular character dining experiences to book at Walt Disney World. Since characters are only at ‘Ohana for breakfast, you’ll need to make sure you book a morning time slot for your meal to see the characters.

Booking in Advance
Guests can book through the My Disney Experience app, the Disney World website, or by calling Disney Dining up to 60 days (plus length of stay for Disney Resort guests) in advance. While same-day reservations or walk-ups may sometimes be available, they are not guaranteed, so securing a spot early is the best way to ensure your preferred dining time.
If you’re unable to find a reservation, using a reservation alert service like MouseDining can help notify you when a spot opens up.
Meal Pricing
Meals are served at the ‘Ohana Best Friends Breakfast in an all-you-care-to-enjoy, family-style dining manner. And your meal includes seeing Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto that come over to your table to visit.
As of March 2025 on our recent trip there, the meal is priced at $53 per adult and $33 per child (ages 3-9), excluding tax and gratuity. This price includes a standard non-alcoholic beverage.

For the quality of the food combined with the unique experience, our family feels like the pricing was matched with the experience you receive.
Rating ‘Ohana Character Breakfast at Disney’s Polynesian Resort
This is a great character dining experience for families and gets a top rating from us! We love this character breakfast experience, and ‘Ohana is a restaurant we will return to again. Both the food and the character interactions here are stand out experiences, and will provide a magical start to your Disney day.

This is a great meal for all ages, and is especially convenient if you’ll be heading to Magic Kingdom for the day. Although it also works great since it is located in a Disney Resort, that you do not need to have any park tickets to go to this dining location. Making it a great choice for rest days as well!
If your family loves seeing the Disney characters at meals, this is a fun breakfast option to consider putting on your schedule. We love this meal and the characters you’ll meet here, and this is one dining experience that goes on our “must repeat” list for our family!
