Disney World Packing List for April | What to Pack Checklist Printable
We love visiting Disney World in April! Not only is this a popular spring break time for many schools, but the weather is fantastic in Florida at this time of year! Flowers are in bloom and temperatures are warm, without having the blazing heat you’ll find in the summer. Use the Disney World April Packing Checklist printable below to make sure you bring all of the essentials for your trip!

It’s spring time at Disney World, and by April the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full swing! This is one of my favorite EPCOT Festivals to attend, and there are beautiful floral displays throughout the theme parks to get some great photos.

What’s the Weather Like in April at Disney World?
April in Orlando is a very temperate time to visit. Average temperatures range from the 70s to 80s and the weather tends to be very manageable at this time of year. Although rain is always a chance in Florida, you should encounter generally sunny weather during most of the month.

It’s typically warm enough during this time of year that I wear dresses on most day of the trip. I love how they look in photos, plus they are a great option for staying cool in the theme parks! (I always wear bike shorts underneath them!)

In case of rain I bring a packable poncho or compact umbrella that are nice to have in your theme park bag. Also make sure to wear comfortable shoes! I bring multiple pairs of shoes to rotate between on the trip!
What’s Happening at Disney World in April
There’s lots happening in April at Disney World! The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off in March and runs through the entire month of April. With it brings the nightly Garden Rocks Concert series, beautiful topiaries, and lots of great food!
During the entire month of April 2026, this vibrant festival is all about the beauty of nature! Make sure to plan to try the tasty treats from the Outdoor Kitchens, and I love spending multiple days at the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.
This festival is fun for the whole family! With flowers in bloom, there’s lots to look at and nearly 100 topiaries to keep an eye out for! Plus, this festival has some of my favorite food selections out of all of the EPCOT festivals.

April is the perfect time to put together floral ensembles inspired by all of the bright colors of spring!
April Specific Packing Essentials
Now that its starting to warm up in April, you can a plan to pack clothing that is suitable for warmer temperatures, in the 70s to 80s range.
It’s always a great idea to pack a lightweight hoodie or denim jacket in case of some rain or a chilly morning. Overall, we have found the weather in April to typically be fairly ideal!

Pack your base layers of shorts with tee shirts, or some lightweight dresses and skirts. Athletic material items are nice to wear as the temperatures start to warm up, and are also easy to walk lots of steps in the theme parks!
If you’ll be there towards the end of the month, temperatures will start climbing as well. Making this a great time of year to spend some time at your resort pool or the water park!
For shoes, bring a few pairs of comfortable walking shoes to alternate between each day. And I like bringing a few different theme park bags to alternate between to match my outfits.
