Tips for Staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
This moderate resort is one of the larger, more spread out resorts so our family prefers to stay in a preferred room when we visit Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
This allows us to be close to the amenities on site , like the main bus stop for the resort and food court area.
We also prefer staying at this resort when it is warmer outside and we will be able to get full use out of the pool, as it is one of our favorite parts about this resort. The water slide is fun and this is a great pool to visit to relax in the evenings after a long day at the parks.
Would I Stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Again?
I have stayed at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort a number of times and it is an excellent choice for families and a variety of types of stays. If you can catch a great deal, it sometimes is even the lowest price moderate making it an excellent choice for solo stays as well!
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is a great option for those looking for a unique, Southwestern-themed resort with convention hotel amenities. The resort’s pool complex and Disney touches make it an excellent choice for families and couples alike.
While it may not be as conveniently located as some other Disney resorts, the resort’s affordable price point and stunning theming make it well worth the visit. The rooms are spacious and in my opinion the resort feels like an upper end moderate resort because of the additional amenities at the resort.
For families one downside to the resort is the large size and how long the walk to get to the main building may be if you do not have a preferred room or stay in the Gran Destino Tower section. However for the price, this is a solid resort choice, along with all of the other moderate level resorts, which tend to be our favorite level or resort to stay with our family of four.
This resort was rated fairly low in our rankings of moderate resorts only because of it being a convention center, which when it is busy can quite change the atmosphere of the resort. This moderate resort is worth consideration for families that are drawn to the resort theme and would prefer more amenities over caring how large the resort space will be to walk through.
