Disney Treasure Unveiled | Grand Reveal of the Newest Disney Cruise Line Ship

The newest of the Disney Cruise Line fleet has been unveiled and more exciting details about the Disney Treasure have been revealed! All images courtesy of Disney Cruise Line.

This all new ship will be sailing to ports in the Eastern and Western Caribbean like Tortola, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Cozumel, and Disney Castaway Cay. More information has also been released about the interior and the ship has been entirely imagined with Disney story-telling at the forefront!

What Can You Find on the Disney Treasure

Guests will be greeted by a soaring Grand Hall as they enter the ship, adorned with Mediterranean inspired decor and an iconic statue of Aladdin and Jasmine at the staircase.

Inside the ship will house all new restaurant experiences, new state of the art Broadway style shows, kids entertainment areas, and special areas just for adults.

From stem to stern, the Disney Treasure has adventure in mind. Each of its spaces are designed to invoke a feeling of exploration and wonder.

Staterooms on the Disney Treasure

The staterooms on Disney Cruise Line ships are comfortable for families and the Disney Treasure will have the expected amenities in the Family Verandah rooms, our family especially loves the pull down bunk beds for kids. The staterooms have reimagined artwork and adornments like the Disney Treasure blankets in the room.

Accomodations are modern and warm, with light wood and neutral tones use throughout the stateroom, with jewel tone accents.

Amenities on the Disney Treasure

The Disney Treasure will be full of surprises, just like the name suggests there will be plenty to find on this ship! With all new dining experiences, entertainment, and activities for guests, the whole family will find something to enjoy aboard the ship.

Dining on the Disney Treasure

The Disney Treasure will feature a new restaurant themed after the beloved Disney Pixar film Coco, the Plaza de Coco will be a celebration of music and family amidst a lively dining experience. The World of Marvel that is also on the Disney Wish will be returning among the dining rotations on the Disney Treasure, along with 1923, a dining experience that celebrates the history of the Walt Disney Company.

Disney Treasure Dining will include:

  • Plaza de Coco – celebration of music and family in this all new restaurant experience.
  • Worlds of Marvel – adventure awaits at this action packed meal featuring Marvel characters.
  • 1923 – a classic dining space inspired by the long history of the Walt Disney Company.

Entertainment on the Disney Treasure

Family entertainment is one of the most exciting parts of a Disney cruise and their stage shows are unmatched in quality and entertainment. The Walt Disney Theatre will be home to two beloved stage shows that are on other Disney cruise ships, and one all new experience that will be announced in the future.

  • Disney Seas the Adventure
  • Brand-new Broadway Style Show (to be announced)

Areas Just for Kids Aboard the Disney Treasure

Oceaneer Club is just for kids, ages 3 to 12, on Disney cruises! This fun space allows kids to have independence while they are on the cruise and has programming just for this group of sailors. Activities are guided by the Oceaneer Club counselors and there are Open House times where the parents can stop by to see the space as well.

The Oceaneer Club will again feature the slide in entrance like what is available on the Disney Wish, this feature was a huge hit with our Oceaneer Club aged kids!

Edge is an area just for tweens on the Disney cruise ships, and the Disney Treasure will have a space for 11 to 14 year olds to spread out and call home aboard the ship.

Vibe is exclusively for teens ages 14 to 17 cruising with Disney Cruise Line. The Vibe club on the Disney Treasure will feature a space just for teens to relax, game, and connect with other teens on their cruise.

Adult Spaces on the Disney Treasure

A jungle themed adult lounge Skipper Society is inspired by the Jungle Cruise. You’ll be sure to have a punny time here!

Periscope Pub is another adult lounge inspired by a classic Disney attraction, Walt Disney’s 1954 film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Family Spaces on the Disney Treasure

Inspired by the pridelands of the Lion King, Sarabi is an area to be used a hub for daytime activities for the whole family and night time entertainment for adults.

Families will love the all new sweetshop experience features favorites from Zootopia, inside Jumbeaux’s Sweets.

Water Fun on the Disney Treasure

The Disney Treasure will feature seven staggered pools throughout the upper decks and will have an new attraction at sea, AquaMouse: Curse of the Golden Egg, which will be a fun filled water ride that goes around the 12th Deck edge like on the Disney Wish but with an all new storyline.

There will also be a Quiet Cove for adults, where they can slip away to enjoy drinks poolside in an area set aside just for adults to enjoy some quiet time.

Final Thoughts on the Disney Treasure

This all new ship is sure to excite guests when it sets sail in December 2024.
