Some dining locations offer character dining at all three meals, while others feature characters only during breakfast, or only during dinner. Do note that characters are always subject to availability and may change for your dining reservation.

Meals like Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall feature three to four princesses in the dining room that rotate based on availability. You can see the princesses seen at these locations most often above, but sometimes there can be a surprise princess visit too!

Step into the grandeur of Cinderella’s Castle and enjoy a meal fit for royalty at Cinderella’s Royal Table. This character dining experience features appearances by Cinderella and other Disney Princesses.

Choose from breakfast, lunch, or dinner and indulge in a three-course meal with options like beef tenderloin, shrimp and scallops, and vegetarian dishes. The atmosphere inside the castle is absolutely charming and every Disney fan has to do this one at least once!

Meals are ordered from the menu when you arrive and this is a pre-paid meal reservation when you reserve it in My Disney Experience.

Chef Mickey’s

Join Mickey and his friends for a lively meal at Chef Mickey’s in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This character dining experience is available for breakfast, brunch, and dinner and features a buffet-style meal with options like Mickey waffles, eggs benedict, and a carving station.

Don’t forget your camera for photos with Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. Before you leave, you can grab a group photo with Minnie. This one has been one of my girls’ favorites and they ask to return to this one even as tweens and teens!

Tusker House Restaurant

At Tusker House Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can enjoy a buffet-style meal with flavors inspired by African cuisine. This character dining experience features appearances by Safari Donald, Goofy, Mickey, and Daisy in their safari gear.

Choose from breakfast, lunch, or dinner and enjoy dishes like tandoori chicken, curried rice, and roasted vegetables. We love the ambiance here and it is a super fun meal.

This is a great way to cool of at Animal Kingdom in the middle of the day. We love the ambiance and variety of food here!

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Experience a taste of Norway at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion. This character dining experience features appearances by Disney Princesses like Jasmine, Belle, and Snow White.

Enjoy a delightful meal with options like Norwegian meatballs, salmon, and traditional desserts. There is a mini starter buffet with appetizers and then your party is able to order individual dishes from the menu.

This meal is a fantastic choice if you have a child that loves princesses, and if you’re unable to secure a reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table or plan to spend more time at EPCOT, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall can be a great option to consider.

Hollywood & Vine

As of October 11, 2025, this character dining experience is Minnie’s Seasonal Dine for all meal times now. See Minnie and her pals for a delicious buffet breakfast. If you love the different seasons, this is a great meal for families.

During lunch and dinner, it’s Minnie’s Seasonal Dine features some classic characters in their seasonal best. Minnie’s Seasonal Dining features Minnie, Goofy, Pluto classic Disney characters for a meal at Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Minnie’s Seasonal Dine gives you the chance to interact with some of the classic characters like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto. Lunch and dinner are also a buffet style meal that works great for families.

These character dining experiences are some of the best places to see a number of characters all at once. They also work for a variety of ages! I actually love going to Hollywood & Vine with my adult Disney friends!

Honorable mentions – One Dining Time Locations

There are three dining locations that are some of our favorite character dining experiences, that are only available at one meal time. Making them a harder dining reservation to get because of a more limited availability.

Topolino’s Terrace

Topolino’s Terrace only has character dining during breakfast, and features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy in their artistic outfits. Located at Disney’s Riviera Resort, it is easy to get to by using the Disney Skyliner.

This is a popular character dining reservation because of its unique experience because of the character outfits and the gorgeous location. The food is fantastic and this breakfast is a must do if you have kids that love the arts and the classic Disney characters!

Storybook Dining at Artist Point

Storybook Dining at Artist Point offers character dining only at dinner, and features from the beloved tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Meet the Evil Queen, Grumpy, Dopey, and Snow White as you dine in the Enchanted Forest.

The food here is amazing, and I go on dinners here even on my solo trips because it is such a fun experience.

Cape May Cafe

Cape May Cafe character dining breakfast is a fun dining experience for kids. Meet Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Daisy in their best best gear for Minnie’s Beach Bash breakfast.

The food is served buffet style and there are lots of great food options for young kids.

If you have the option to grab one of these character dining reservations, we think they are all worth trying out at least once! Our kids have enjoyed all of them for their unique experiences.

Character Dining by Theme Park

If you’re looking to meet a number of Disney characters while enjoying a meal, character dining is the way to go. Here are the top character dining experiences in each of the four parks:

Magic Kingdom

At Magic Kingdom, you can dine with Winnie the Pooh and his friends at The Crystal Palace. This Victorian-style restaurant offers a buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’ll get to meet Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet while enjoying classic American fare.

Cinderella’s Royal Table is located inside the castle and is a memorable experience for anyone that loves princesses.

Another great dining option is the Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom. While this is NOT a traditional character meal where the character comes to your table, the Beast is often spotted here strolling through the restaurant.

Plus, the restaurant is themed after Beauty and the Beast and offers a delicious French-inspired menu.

The price tag is higher on this one then some other table service meals, so we only recommend this one for the absolute biggest Beauty and the Beast fans for the experience.

Also, we note this one in our reference list because it should be noted you will NOT see Belle here. This is a common misconception about this meal and she is not a character you will ever see here.

EPCOT

EPCOT has two great character dining options. At Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion, you’ll dine with Disney Princesses like Belle, Cinderella, and Snow White. The restaurant offers a breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet.

Garden Grill Restaurant in The Land Pavilion offers a unique dining experience with Chip ‘n’ Dale and their friends. The restaurant rotates slowly, giving you a view of the Living with the Land attraction. The menu features farm-to-table American cuisine.

Animal Kingdom

At Tusker House Restaurant in Animal Kingdom, you can enjoy a buffet-style breakfast, lunch, or dinner with Donald Duck and his friends. The restaurant is decorated with African-inspired decor and offers a variety of African-inspired dishes.

Hollywood Studios

At Hollywood & Vine you dine with Minnie and friends for a seasonal dining experience! This is a fantastic one if you love different holiday decor. I enjoy visiting here in each season, since the decor, character outfits, and menu change with the season!

The restaurant offers a buffet-style meal at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
